I just went on the computer and seached its history and my brother typed in the word "s e x" and "sexy woman" on the computer. I know it was him so don't tell me it could be my parents. I don't know what to do... he's 10 and I don't want him to get "the wrong idea." Now I'm worried that later on he will get exposed to something else. What should I do? Should I tell my parents or not? I told him what I found and he keeps beating me up. I know he's getting close to puberty age, but what can I do to get him away from that kind of stuff? How can I get him to be more focused in school?

He didn't admit it either.... but it was him. He's my only sibling.

If I were his parents , I would want to know when he was 10, rather than find out years later about some more serious problem that perhaps could have been avoided by talking to him when he was younger.

by telling them, you might be helping your brother in ways you cannot see at this point in time.

parents can install "controls" on the computer so that certain searches won't work. they might want to look into that.

I would tell your parents. I mean he is beating you up already. I agree that he may get some misinformation from these sights although his interest is perfectly normal. Maybe it is time for Mom and Dad to have "the talk," with him.
It may help you to just offer to be there should he have any questions about any of that stuff that he doesn't feel comfortable asking your folks instead of accusing him of being on the Internet and embarrassing him.

Sounds like pretty normal behaviour for a ten year old boy. But I'd tell your parents anyway so they can at least think about putting rules and controls on his internet usage.

If he's beating you up anyway what difference does it make if you tell your parents?

I think you need to tell your parents what you found. They can talk to him the right way about what he's doing online. I don't think anyone that age has any business on the PC anyway, but that's just my opinion.

In life if you hide a crimes knowledge you are just as guilty as the criminal. I would suggest since you tried to talk to your brother about it. Your must go to your parents and let them handle the situation.
