1. Jon is cute and nice but I dont know him very well. Yet i still feel the vibe that he likes me the same way I like him: we both cant make up our minds about each other, that it probably won't work so we don't try. We used to talk more when we sat two seats down from each other, I'd always catch him staring at me. Then, he moved seats, but some days he still makes attempts to start conversations with me. I really want to get to know him more, but we never seem to bump into each other much or long enough to start a conversation. We only have once class together, and on some days I seem him in the hallways. Do you think I should try to get to know him more and see if anything happens? How can I let him know I'm interested?

My frist homecoming dance is coming up and I was planning to go. It never hit me by the fact I need a date... I thought I'll just go single and if I dance with a guy I meet that's fine and if I don't then that's fine too. However later on I found that all my friends are going with someone either as a date or as friends. I found that it is pointless if I go with someone as friends because it would just be the same thing as just going by myself. But then someone told me it wouldn't be fun unless you have a date... is this true? should I ask someone?

I've always been close with my mom ever since I can remember. Lately, she's changed into a whole new person. It all started in April. My mom hated our house, so she told my dad to sell it and to move. So we sold it and moved into a 5,000 sq. ft. house that they can barely afford. Since then, my mom has become so materialistic it's to the point she drives me absolutely nuts. She's found a job at my school and now she's mad at me because I'm not a sex-crazed boy humping every girl I come into contact with and she's trying to force my sister into dating college guys because of all the things she hears at my school. She thinks she's young again and she's turned into a cruel person. Nothing is good enough for her. She hates boys. She treats me and my dad like doormats. I really can't stand to be around her. She's just so different it's hard. When I try to ignore her, she cries and tells me I "hurt her heart" and then says I need to be nicer to her since she's my mom. What can I do?

OK lets say someone has a gf or bf, both genders either one. Would a guy or girl cheat or dump their mate just because they found someone who looks better and is more rich, talented, smarter, or whatever?

I'm not a very smart guy but if I try I can do it. I'm just afraid if I ever get a gf she would dump me for not being as smart or handsome as some other guy she suddenly falls for.

Are there really shallow people like that? They dump their gf or bf just because they see someone with higher standards. Also their bf or gf are good and treat them well but they find some new person who has more. Is this possible?

I know it's true for me! I'm just wondering why....the sex was great when we were dating and even just living together but it's almost like a switch went off once we signed that certificate. My husband has all the signs of cheating.Honestly I feel too old to care and to tired to move.My opinion is karma is horrible so I am just gonna let it ride it's way out.Really dont feel like a divorce.I am a huge christian and the only reason I divorced before was my x did try to kill me.So this is like what ever to me.I would never put my soul in jeperody of the man upstairs as far as adultry.I kind of think all husbands will cheat.Givin time.He is sweet for the most part.It is not a horrible marrige and I am sick of worring myself.Do you blame me for just sticking it out?

She referred to him as her "best friend". the night we first made love I asked her about him and she just laughed. I took it to mean that he was lousy in bed. A few months later, I asked her who the "biggest" guy she had ever been with was and she said it was this guy (her ex, and quite large at that). I was horrified. I have a co worker that is going through occasional rough times with her husband. At the same time, I am having some questions about my marriage. My co worker is extremely beautiful, intelligent and has values, opinions and interests similar to my own. Things that I gave up to be with my wife, I feel like I could embrace again with this other woman. I am looking for answers because I can't figure out what to do. I want to not destroy what I have worked for a very long time to achieve. At the same time, I don't want to keep running in this rut and miss out on something that could be very special.

I have thought about just starting over: new job, new location. I think this might be my only recourse so I don't hurt anybody, which is going to happen no matter what.

My mom is overprotective. Today my guyfriend came over and we went and sat at this place,which isn't very far from my house. So anyways my mom made such a big deal out of nothing and now she wants to go over to my guyfriend and tell him that the next time he comes over he has to come inside.

Here's the situation: I browse the personal ads on Craig's List (and I am being VERY careful, trust me) and I find a guy that sounds interesting.

We exchange e-mails and I send him my pic and I get no response from him. Does that mean he's uninterested or does that mean that I should e-mail him back? I'm very unsure of this. I sometimes think he wants me to reply afterward but I don't know. I usually assume that the guy would reply afterward.

Okay, so for the record, I am somewhat plus size but by no means ugly (I do understand that some guys like slim women).

What should I do? Should I reply to him?

I need help with my marriage.I leave for Iraq Again Dec 8th and all we do is fight about her wanting to goto the bar everynite and I am stuck here training our troops and working. She says she loves me but wants to do what she wants when she wants. Last june she cheated on my and I should have left. But I cant, not she met this guy at the bar and hid him from me till I found out she was calling him when I was gone. I try to work things out but I cant find the heart to walk away. before we got married i lied about having a long distance but very intimate relationship with my ex for the first 6 months of mine and my current wifes relationship then lied for a year after we were married about having sex with her during her short trip to see me. she only found out because my ex imed her and told her. my wife lied to me about talking to an ex bc she bumped into him at the store a couple times. she also lied about how many people she was with before me. do we stand a chance at working this out. we both want to but it isnt getting anywhere. there is no trust and especially know bc we are on opposite sides of the world. who did the most wrong? how do we fix this

We have been married for eight years. Since the start, it has been rocky, but we have always seemed to make it through. One year ago my parents became ill, and we moved into their house to help make ends meet, and they obligingly moved into the in-law three bedroom out back to keep their ranch style home that has been in the family for 170 years. My wife is miserable. She suffers from multiple prescribed diagnosis, mental and physical, and has a recently found tumor in her brain. For the past year things went downhill, and now we are at wits end. She wants to move (for the tenth time) to make things better, and I am arguing that this has always been the case: geographical changes to escape life. I can't bear to live in the area that she wants to go to, but I feel like an idiot for allowing our move to the parent's house to occur in the first place. Should we just bail out and leave, or stay and face whatever life brings?
