We live paycheck to paycheck with a little extra money sometimes and when we get the extra we buy something as a family decision. Well my husband got a $1300 bonus check. He deposited 1100 of it and kept out $272. My understanding was were going to catch up stuff. I went to work tonight, and he called and said him and the kids went to get our 14 yr old a winter coat. Ok fine.....well he called back and said he spent $83 on the coat, and then left and went to wal-mart to get some shoes for our son. The issue isn't walmart, but Walmart sells nice winter coats for under $30. and that is what I said to him and he got mad????????? I buy everything at walmart, why couldn't he have bought a $30 jacket at walmart, instead of buying this $83 coat?? Am I crazy? or blowing it out of proportion?

Where should I start, well i'm like the "average teenager" I make A's amd B's, I live in middle class america, i have good friends and family members, I'm involved in all kind of activities, i don't smoke, drink or pacipate in sexual adventures and i'm like the nicest person you could ever meet. But sometimes I feel barren. I feel like I'm searching for something or something's missing. I only have that feeling sometimes. I'm not depressed or anything but
I wanna know whats missing. I mean I have everything so why am I feeling this way. I'm my family i'm like the "average one". I have the older sister whom everybody think is perfect but they don't know her after dark. I have the college brother with the baby and another big sister who's 90 pounds and just absorbs money. Maybe I feel inferior to them but I really don't care what people think of me. I'm the laid back goofy kid I guess and nothing bothers me but this , unexplainable burden, pleads help!

I am living in limbo--that gray area in a relationship full of uncertainty and unknowing. I recently got engaged to the woman of my dreams. I purchased a home, downsized my life, and began to build my life around her. My family has been an issue, but I chose her. Coming from an Italian family, the drama of la familia has taken its toll on us both, and she has recently taken her ring off. She says she is uncertain of our future, wants to take it day by day. Should I be concerned? I love her deeply, madly. I fear it may no longer be recipricol. How should I respond?

First off, my entire extended family inculding aunts, uncles, cousins, cut me off 4 years ago. I was told by one wife of my cousin, "None of us want to hear from you, dont call us"
This was because i didnt call her husband (my cousin) for his 53rd bday.
The entire extended family backed off. its been 4 years and not one word from anyone..

Only the wife of a different cousin calls time to time, She is very fake and has Verbally abused me in the past. She talks like she knows from nothing i was cut off.
Shes been calling the past 4 years on labour day and thanksgiving, finding out what my holiday plans are and what im doing, obviously reporting back to them.
Shes left me 20 messages since labour day saying "I miss u, i care about u, i love u, call me"
I have not called and she wont stop, she dying to know what im up to for thanksgiving.
Shes not nice- in the past she has insulted and abused me, its all fake.
What can i do so she goes away forever?

OK, my girlfriend of four months and I were talking today. For the past couple of weeks I think we have been discovering the large differences between us (even though we were best friends for two years). kay, so i am on a communitie basketball team and i really like it but the thing is, is that it might not work out because we dont have enough players.

we sat together last year for a class and he kept on talking to me even if I was so shy and quiet... like I only smiled back whenever he talked to me and yet he continued to talk to me everyday... he even brought up things about my past that I wouldn't have expected him to remember or even know... we don't have any classes together yet this year but whenever I walk pass him in the halls with my friends, he only looks at me and not at my friends... I know it's a little early to think about this, but I asked my boyfriend if he would go to prom with me, and he said no. He's a couple years older than me so he's in university now. He told me he didn't even go his own prom; he thinks it's stupid and lame.

However, he won't allow me to go with anyone else either. I don't think it's fair for him to not allow me to go with a guy friend when he's the one declining my offer in the first place. So I'm just wondering if there's any way I could convince him to go, rather than throw a tantrum and force him or end up angering him because I went with another guy? It's not like he lives far from me or anything. He's just once again, embarrassed of being seen with me even after 4 years of dating simply because I look young (he even admitted to this).

My husband is getting out of a 6 month drug rehab program on Friday. I want to know if it is ok to allow him to drink alcohol or not. Alcohol was never a problem for him, cocaine was his only addiction. I do not drink very often. I will maybe have 1 or 2 drinks every couple of months. I just wanted to know if I should ban all alcohol from our home? I just need some guidance on this one. Serious, helpful answers please.

Hi there. I would like to have a beach theme wedding in San Diego, Mission Bay/La Jolla area. Can anyone tell me of a nice and good place where I can hold the reception. I love the beach so I would like to have it as beachy as possible. Also inside. I would like to spend no more that $10 thousand on this. I have around 125 guests I am also looking for a DJ and photographer. I didn't like the boat cruise for a wedding. I have only been living here for about 2yrs. So don't know many places.
