kay, so i am on a communitie basketball team and i really like it but the thing is, is that it might not work out because we dont have enough players.
so i tried out for my school team im the best player and love it.
but the thing is,is that my father really wants me to do the first team
"you cant let down your team" "you made a commentment stik with it."
what shiould i do .
ps. i am 14

I agree with your dad. Part of growing up is learning how to make choices and sticking by your committments. You can always switch teams for the next season; your school with still be there and they will still need good players to try out. It's a matter of building good ethics and character which is what you dad is trying to help you do. It's no different than asking a girl to the prom and wanting to back out of it because you found someone else you want to ask. Not fair.

let him know how you feel about it and let him know that you dont want to do it. he should listen to you because its really your choice to be happy with what you are doing or not happy with it.
