Do you think you can keep it completely platonic? Plus, how would you feel if your current boyfriend's ex came into the would you feel okay about him rekindling a friendship with her?

What does your current boyfriend think?
Personally, I wouldn't want my boyfriend trying to be friends with his ex. I wouldn't feel comfortable about it.

Being only friends is cool. It only becomes a problem when things start becoming more than that. And to be fair to your current bf, be sure to let him know beforehand that you and your ex are still friends... and ONLY friends. That way he won't trip or make a big deal about it if he finds out otherwise.

Being friends with a former (who is now married) is a bad idea. First, what for? His wife may find out, even if this is an "innocent" friendship, do you think she can handle that? Better stay away for your sake and his.

there is nothing wrong with that, if u ex is single or not.... i keep in touch with most of my ex bfs at all times in my life..... not that i have alot or anything..... some of them i was friends with 1st and we grew up together.... so we will always have that connection.... the only reason it would be wrong is if u was still in love wit them or vis versa..... cause then u would have a problem on ur hands

Bad situation all around. He shouldn't be calling you if he's married and you shouldn't be talking to him if you're serious about your boyfriend. 'Friendships' do not exist at that level. How would you feel if your boyfriend were talking to his ex on a regular basis?

It is not a sin. I would not hide it from the current boyfriend or from the ex's wife.

Sin? What is it that your want? What is your goal of rekindling this friendship? If it is for sex, or to get him away from his wife, then that is not right. It is possible to be friends, if that is all that it is. Tread lightly.

You should ask your bf how he feels about it and then respect his wishes. I would hope that he would do the same for you.
