She referred to him as her "best friend". the night we first made love I asked her about him and she just laughed. I took it to mean that he was lousy in bed. A few months later, I asked her who the "biggest" guy she had ever been with was and she said it was this guy (her ex, and quite large at that). I was horrified. She quickly noticed my reaction and now refuses to talk about their past. I have caught her instant messanging him off and on. what should I do?

She claims she wants to marry me and wants nothing to do with him. For the last 3 years they were not a couple they would only hook up for sex.

I would explain to her that it bothers you that she still text messages this guy. I would be pissed if my fiance was doing that.

Stop being so insecure!! If she is with you and not him, then regardless of his size, she'd rather be with you! You must be doing something right. Furthermore, if you start acting jealous, that's going to detract from whatever it is about you she likes so much and the other guy might actually start to look better. Shrug it off and know that she's with you and not him. Who cares if they IM each other?

Dude, trust her a little. Don't get all over-protective, self possesive, maniacally jealous boyfriend. Just ask her if she still has any feelings for him and just be sure she isn't cheating on you, that's it. Don't jump to conclusions and if she is cheating on you confront her about it. Dump if you know she's just using you coz then, she's not woth it.

Get your mind off the jealousy thing. You should not think about her past and you should only look toward the future. That is my advice.

Just ask her straight up if she still has feelings for him. But remember she is choosing to be with YOU and not HIM. There's a reason for that. Be happy with that knowledge and let it be.

bad bad bad....she is still hung up on this guy. If you want more than just sex and conversation, then I would be looking elsewhere. She will leave you the moment he is available or wants her back!!

talk to her about it or forget about it. And not accepting the answer and being shocked when the answer was unexpected are two completely different things

Its time for you to have a serious discussion with her. Thats if you are really in love with her. otherwise just move on. Secrecy and suspicion will definitly kill your love.
Time for serious thinking.

You shouldn't have asked if you weren't going to accept the answer.
