My frist homecoming dance is coming up and I was planning to go. It never hit me by the fact I need a date... I thought I'll just go single and if I dance with a guy I meet that's fine and if I don't then that's fine too. However later on I found that all my friends are going with someone either as a date or as friends. I found that it is pointless if I go with someone as friends because it would just be the same thing as just going by myself. But then someone told me it wouldn't be fun unless you have a date... is this true? should I ask someone?

The next time u are at school start asking around.. to any of the guys u like and see if they have dates already.. and they may have.. so don't get Ur feelings hurt.. but then again there may be a guy who is to shy to ask anyone out..
so just ask????

and if u have to invite him to attend with u.. that is OK...
just tell him to be ready and u will pick him up at ? time..

You will have a date..
If u have some g/f's u hang with at school.. then it is better to go with them than not go at all.. U will be missing out.. if.. u don't attend..

Go g'f.. in later years.. u will be glad u did...
have fun.. take care and be safe......

Well this is like prom, you can go to prom with someone just as friends just for the sake of not going there alone. And even if you don't have feelings for him, you'll at least enjoy his company and you won't feel out of place alone.

But then homecoming isn't quite like prom, so often from what I've seen girls sometimes go in groups without dates. Although if all your girl friends have dates... well, maybe you should find one too :P

I'm sure there's some guy that's going to your homecoming that wishes he had a date... find him out and you'll both have more fun.
