OK is it just me or do you think that its right for your boyfriend to hang out with your best friend alone?? Am I being selfish not wanting him to be alone with her???? When we are together all he does is talk about her and what they do at the group they are both members of and I asked him to stop and still still hasn't and he said he wouldn't bring it up anymore but he has. We were fine till tonight when he asked me if it was ok if he could hang out with her... Am i being selfish??? Should I let them go and keep the way I am feeling out of it and let them be friends......The reason it hurts so much is because at one point they both wanted to be more then friends but didnt tell each other...plus they hit n each other a lot...... So any advice please help I have been going out with him for 6 monthes and I don't know what to do????

I have a dear friend who is gettting married in January and just got engaged a week ago. She asked me to be her matron of honor...and yes, I'm honored! Her family is LOADED but I'm like the majority of America and I'm trying to make ends meet with my husband and son. I know that I have certain duties and I'm supposed to host her bridal shower and her bachelorette party and I have no idea how I'm supposed to swing something like that. She has a good budget to work with but aren't those things supposed to come out of my pocket? There's the two parties, plus my dress, plus my son's tux, plus her wedding gift. My husband works but we only have one income. I've applied for some part time jobs but I'm so worried I won't get hired in time. What do I do? I want her to have the best wedding experience possible (like I didn't have) but at the same time I can't make money appear out of nowhere. I'm so stressed about this..what should I do? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

if this 16 yr old has divorce parents and runs away from the parent that has custody to the one that doesnt, what will happen? he'll get in trouble, but this was all on his free will, so the other parent cant really get in trouble, but what might happen?

I'm 15 years old, and my parents divorced when i was 7. Ever since then, my dad has not exactly been the 'best dad' shall i say. He went to jail for DUI when i was 11-12. Ever since then, he has either had a suspended driver's liscence, been on house arrest or some other form of being in trouble with the law.

I just called him to talk to him and he told me that he got in trouble AGAIN. He was in a fight, after he had a few beers, and then decided to drive home with a suspended liscence from a few years ago. The sheriff pulled him over and now my dad says he thinks he will be on house arrest again and figures that he will end up going to jail.

when he got done telling me this, im practically in tears. i have no idea what i have done to deserve this. i am a straight A student in school, am always kind to everyone (at least i try =] lol) and im an all around good kid.

he always says that he loves me, and will always be there for me...but obviously he cant (continued..)

Okay, so Im at my schools homecoming dance and one of my friends tells me a girl that is in my class likes me. This came as a shock cause I barely knew who she was. Okay and she likes me but I dont know if I like her back. Shes a cool friend whos always happy when I talk to her and smiles. I guess I kinda like it cause I usually don't have this happen with a girl liking me and telling me. But shes not really the type of girl I like. Ok so Here It Is I am getting married in june of 2008 I have a lot done all ready but i still need to get my dresses for my girls I have the dress pick out but when i try to set up a time for them to come and get fitted they all say that they can't make or that they can't do it on that day i have tryed to set it up to were i go one at a time with them too and they still won't make a date to go and i need them to get sized really soon. I don't want to sound like a Bridezilla To them and keep asking but i need this to get done asap plus people tell me that it takes a long time to order them and get them back. I also Want to let you know that I do have two people out of state standing in my wedding and i call them and tell them to go get sized and still they won't go. So How do I go about this to tell them to get this done with out sounding like a Bridezilla. Please Help Me !!!! : (

PS I don't want to sound like a brideszilla cause thats not like me at all !!!

There is a guy I work with that I am attracted to. He's forty-two and I'm eighteen. It's bad, I know it is, but it's not something I can help. He's really young at heart, and he looks like he could be in his early thirties. Still too old I know. I have a lot of will power when it comes to liking someone, but this is different. I guess it's because I'm feeling sexually frustrated. I haven't had any sexual intimacy in a while and there's not to much to choose from right now in my life. But it's not like a last option sort-of thing, I really do like him, if he were only twenty years younger there'd be no question, but he's not. I just want to have a little fun, make-out with him maybe, that's all. Is it worth it? I work with him and I don't want to jeopardize my reputation within the company, which I haven't even thought about until now. :/ I don't know... What do you think I should do?

It's time for me to apply to college, and I was probably thinking Cornell, or Brown or another university somewhere along those lines. But all the great universities are very far from where I live, and my mom insists that I go to a community college because it's pretty much right near where I live. Or, she wants me to go to a university that's very close to where I live, but is not prestigious at all. And she's pretty much forcing me too. Which makes me VERY mad because I worked very hard these four years of high school to attain a perfect GPA and SAT score and great extracurriculars. My counselor said I have a great chance at getting into an Ivy league and she wants me to attend a community college or un-prestigious university just because she doesn't want to let me go. How lame? Is there anything I can do to convince her? So far, I've been arguing. It sucks.

I feel very strange asking this question, because I've never had much dating trouble before... but now I do.

There's this guy that I think is really... well, attractive, and I've heard good things about him. But... I don't know him. I want to be able to talk to him and get to know him, but the way that he looks at me is really intimidating. I can't tell why he looks at me that way. I'm actually pretty shy, and I really want to be able to talk to him, even as just a friend. How can I talk to him without him thinking I'm an idiot?

My bf lives in MN and I live in PA. I found in gym class, by his bff, that while running, he stopped and his eyes went in the back of his head and he passed out.. and is now in Region hospital. I'm friends with his best friend, Bailey. [I met both him and her online] and I asked her if she saw him in the hospital & she told me that she couldn't cause since it's such a famous hospital, she needs more information to be able to see him..or else they won't let her. So the bride came up with the idea of icing and decorating a styrofoam block cut out which appeared to the guests, but after slicing it together, they went out back and served up the pre cut chocolate cake from the fridge.

Ok so my fiance and I were planning on getting married on 08-08-08 .. But we just found out that we are going to have another baby ... Sometime In early June!! I was thinking as to kill 2 birds with one stone and do something that I haven't heard of .. Having a Wedding/Babyshower sometime in May!
My mom says that she thinks that its not a good idea .. But I really like the idea .. BUT people say twice the gifts .. but then again thats twice the money .. twice the food .. twice paying for the place .. twice the cakes ... its just alot more twices .. lol and 2 days so twice the parties and what not .. im 16 and just lost my grandmother on monday afternoon. thing is, i just can't get her out of my mind, ive gotten no sleep at all these past few nights because of it and im having a hard time in school. thing is, is that i never met my grandfather, he died at aged 57 because of lung cancer. but like i saw my grandma a lot and stuff but lately in the past few months shes been having a few life threatning problems and was put in the hospital and i was mad b/c she took up our own familys time. she was in the hospital for 1 month, the last time i saw her like conscious was a month ago, last time i talked and said goodby to her conscious was a month and 1 week, on sunday night i saw her in her hospital bed. she couldnt talk or see, only hear. i said goodbye to her around 10pm that night and on monday 3pm she passed away. i couldnt believe it. i mean my dads parents are nice and i would mourn for them if they died. but my moms mom did so much. i didnt even have a chance to say goodbye to her

I've known someone for over a year and became good friends with online. We're both over 20 and have spoken to a couple of times on the phone.
We once planned to meet up but didn't as it was too difficult to do so, mainly on his behalf. We're from different countries. Is it normal to like him or should I forget him as the chances of ever meeting are very slim? I'm not sure if he feels the same way.
