My friend's mom is going through chemotherapy right now, and I don't know how to react in front of her (my friend.) What should I do to support her? What is the proper ettiquette of what I should do for her or say to her?

im 15 & whenever i try to stay up all night, i get run down & i start throwin up if i stay up for more than 24 hours. is it normal to throw up if you stay up all night? do you guys ever throw up? why does my body do this?

My grandaughter is 14(going 0n25), her drunken (alcoholic) step-uncle gave ALCOHOL at a cook out at their house,(3 months ago!!) My family doesn't drink, but we've got a drunk that married my step daughter!! I haven't decided what I'm gonna do yet, but I will take care of it!!(Before MY DAUGHTER) finds out!! Am I wrong???

I am recently divorced from a marriage where my wife left me. I still have feelings for her, but I know she is never coming back.

I have been friends with a nice girl since highschool (though i had not seen her for years) and our friendship was rekindled when I was going through the divorce, and she was also going through a difficult divorce. Everything between us had just been friends for months, and we were a mutual support system for each other. I found myself becoming attracted to her, and a few weeks ago, we became a couple.
She introduced me to her three kids, and they are very wonderful. I want kids someday, and feel that I would have to miss out on having my own being with her, and if we ever get more serious and live together, or marry...I would be living in another man's home.
I would like to hear from somebody that has made a situation like this work..I think i love her, but is it possible to "become" part of a ready made family?

Hi guys, this is a very touchy subject for me to be typing about, but i need advice from peeps that don't know me to see what use would do.
First off to cut a long story short, my sister had been stealing off me, my gran and my uncle, she had been using my credit card and stealing blank cheques from uncle and going into my gran safe and stealing money.
I know what use are thinking well thats fraud and yes it is, but my uncle could not bear turning her in, mean while i went to the police and they where no help, this was 3 years ago all this happened.
She cut herself from the family and i haven't seen her in 3 years, i have been left paying the debt. Just last week my gran passed away and my sister was at her funeral hiding as some of my auntys would of said something. My gran forgave her a year before she died and wanted to see her but my family would not let her,anyway i am back talking to her with my sis again as my gran would want that, my sis has told me that she is expecting

now this girl is 15 and i hear from her sister who chats to my sister, my mum and me that she getting very cheaky, bad and that and hanging in the asbo crowd and alot of other stuff, she has a boyfriend who is 18, she wont listen to anyone and being a ***** to. also she doesnt care if she goes into care and i hear now nad then that she try to push her farther to hit her because when she does she will call the police but he wont.

now this girl likes me from what i hear and from what i see she does but i dont get involve because she way to young for me but as she does fancy me maybe she might listen to me if i ever talked to her alone, i dont want to have ago at her but try to her see ence if she continues down this road, you see my sisters girlfriend is sweet as pie, i dont want her sister to end up in a juvanile detention centre because if she ends up going down this road thats where she going to be till her 21 birthday and she'll probably be worse even after that. i want to help

I feel guilty when I watch porn or when I masturbate, so I desperately want to stop, but I can't stop myself. When I'm alone, the temptation gets the better of me and despite my best efforts I can't stop. I need some advice on how to stop.

Please don't suggest telling someone (for accountability) b/c I find my habit despicable and don't want others (especially someone I know well) to know.

Ok, my dad is always stressed since my brother is always screwing up and his job stinks so he always takes it out on me. He always yells at me if i do one little thing wrong like dont put something back in the right place and he always tells me to f**k off. I always end up going somewhere else and crying. if a women stays in a mentally abusive marrige,then arent any of the consequenses she suffers as a result of it ,her fault
as she is a grown women and we are ultimatly responsible for ourselves,also we cannot blame others for our problems,therefore
she cant blame her husband for anything,as she could have just left????
I was in a mentally (which i've found worse)than physical abuse,for many years,
and this is what i was told by people
what are your thoughts??

okay so theres this guy and i have know him for about a year and we have talked and hang out and a couple of months ago he told me he loved me and everything so i trusted him because i really like him but then i got a text from his ex about a week after we kinda hooked up and she told me that they were back together and that she didn't want me to talk to him anymore so i let it go and didn't talk to him even though it killed me not to and then last week me and him started talking again and i confronted him and he told me he had no clue what i was talking about and told me that he loved me and i grow weak and gave in and i really want to be with him but i do i know if hes going to hurt me again and if he really loves me, so my question is what are some of the sign that he can give me to prove that he loves me and wants to be with me or if hes just playing with me head????????

This is going to seem a little long but read and please help me I'm feeling sorta "down in the dumps".

Ok well my parents are divorced and my dad got a job offer in India. He will make good money and will get to travel the world (they go to a new place every year). So my dad is leaving and my mom got a job offer in Fort McMurray (a 20 hour drive from where I live) so now I'm stuck without a mom or dad to turn to. My mom has left already and my dad's leaving at the end of the month. I live with my mom so she hired a nanny (not MY nanny but A nanny). She's great and I really like her but today her and my bro had some miscommunacations (I hope I spelled that right) and my 9 year old bro ended up "being lost". I knew where he was because he came to my field hockey game. I feel really guilty now because Sara (my nanny, who is only 19) was so worried she almost called the cops, she had the principle and his best friends parents looking for him. Now my bro wants to fire Sara.

My ex husband and I are going thru a custody battle right now with our 4 year old son, 2 year old daughter and our 12 week old daughter that was born 9 months after our divorce. I wasn't faithful to my husband and after our divorce I went a little crazy in the man department for a few months. My attorney seems to think that because of my promiscuity and because my ex is remarried with a great job and a big house that I will loose my kids to him. What do you guys think?

I dated my ex boyfriend for about three years. He was always such the jerk to me, and I finally decided to move on. I started moving on to my neighbor, who I'm starting to like a lot. We get along and have a lot in common. Then, all the sudden; my ex comes back in the picture and he's trying to do anything he can to win me back. At first I thought it was a no-brainer and to just move on, but now I don't know. I'm starting to realize how much I miss my ex-boyfriend in some ways, but I'm afraid if we go back out, there will be that miserable breakup that we had all over again. I just don't know what to do. My ex and my neighbor don't get along. My ex doesn't know about my neighbor, and my neighbor doesn't know im contemplating between the two of them. Ok, theres this guy on my bus. Hes really cute and all, but im new to this school, so i dont know him and he doesnt know me. I dont even know if he knows my name. We havent talked at all yet, but sometimes we like make eye contact or whatever, but im kindof shy and look away. he rides the bus like two days a week in the morning because his parnets are divorced, and his step sister is a girl who ive known for ever, but im not on her "worth talking to" list, so she basically ignores my presence. But he also rides the bus with her, on friday afternoon (hes on the football team so he doesnt ride any other afternoons, but wont ride on fridays if he has a game) one friday he sat next to me, but his step sister was already sitting there and came over and made him move. so he sat infont of me (there were open seats infront and behind me) but he also sits behind me every morning with a whole back of the bus empty everybody is quiet in the morning so idk what to do about getting him to notice me

so i have been having stomach pains. today they were acting up after eating some junk food after school so when my parents called me to dinner i said i wasnt hungry. my dad threw a fit and made me go eat. i had one bite of chicken and a few peas and my stomach was killing me because of that. i asked if i could leave yet and my mom made a huge deal about family dinner. she never has before and i was kinda rude and said, "when will we stop having these dumb 'family diners'" i know it was rude but i felt horrible. i seriously couldnt eat and they made me and didnt listen when i tried to explain.

well i went upstairs to cool down and try to keep from feeling bad when i heard my dad yell at my mom telling her i am annorexic. i am not now nor ever will be annorexic and it hurts me to think he thinks that. i mean i didnt feel good and i havent been eating dinner lately because at night i get stomach ahces. my parents dont believe me when i tell them this.
