I dated my ex boyfriend for about three years. He was always such the jerk to me, and I finally decided to move on. I started moving on to my neighbor, who I'm starting to like a lot. We get along and have a lot in common. Then, all the sudden; my ex comes back in the picture and he's trying to do anything he can to win me back. At first I thought it was a no-brainer and to just move on, but now I don't know. I'm starting to realize how much I miss my ex-boyfriend in some ways, but I'm afraid if we go back out, there will be that miserable breakup that we had all over again. I just don't know what to do. My ex and my neighbor don't get along. My ex doesn't know about my neighbor, and my neighbor doesn't know im contemplating between the two of them. The new guy even asked me out already but I told him I needed more time. What should i do? Any input ? Thanks for any answers!

If he was always a jerk to you (for 3 years) why would you even consider going back with him? You would have to be a masochist to do that. Its the past, over with and it is highly doubtful he has changed. He will just go back to treating you bad. Im guessing he hasnt found anyone to manipulate and control so he is using your weakness to try and get back that control.
If you have an ounce of brain in your head you will cut off all contact with the ex and date your neighbor.
Even dating no one is better then going back with your ex.

You need to heal from the last relationship before moving on to the next one. You cannot carry baggage from the previous relationship. You aren't over him because you said you miss him very much. You need some "ME TIME" to get over the break-up!!

Forget your ex, he will be the same jerk he was before. Try the new guy, and see where it goes.
