My grandaughter is 14(going 0n25), her drunken (alcoholic) step-uncle gave ALCOHOL at a cook out at their house,(3 months ago!!) My family doesn't drink, but we've got a drunk that married my step daughter!! I haven't decided what I'm gonna do yet, but I will take care of it!!(Before MY DAUGHTER) finds out!! Am I wrong???

Your daughter needs to know right away. It is her daughter and she should know. She will be furious, as you are. Together you can decide on a plan of action, but for sure she has a right to know. You have every right to be angry.

How previous is this granddaughter? Mommy and Daddy could be lots embarrassed via this little stunt and perhaps think of roughly how spoiled and ungrateful the little darling is. actually i've got faith it grew to become into Ted's super niece, and JFK's grandaughter.

I don't think that it is wrong for you to be upset-I mean, she is only 14...but think about it...wouldn't you rather have her in that state of mind with family rather than somewhere else? I used to have eggnog with rum at my grandmother's house on christmas eve and stuff...but it's not like I got wasted...
I know it can contribute to her thinking that the lifestyle is agreeable and such, and if she is an impressionable kid, I'd be pretty pissed myself. It's not wrong of you to want to do something about it. :)

You seriously should tell your daughter so she can tell her daughters step-uncle you should handle this but if it gets to far just tell your daughter i'm sure that shell be able to handle this i mean come on its her daughter....ur granddaughter...
