This guy that likes me says that he thinks im beautiful and so does many other people. However, when I go out with certain types of guys I go for those that may not be consider handsome. WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME?

Nothing is wrong with you. I like "cute" guys a lot mroe than I like "hot" guys. they seem more innocent and sweet. It's just a preference. Appearance shouldn't have that much of an impact on your relationships.

Oh honey nothing is wrong with you u r just human that is all yet your self esteam seems a bit low, is there a reason for this?, if so do not sit there focusing on the negitives but rather the positives what have you the ability to improve but most impotantly do it for yourself.
I know alot of ppl are the same yet there comes a time when you have to seperate yourself from others judgment and perceptions or expectation and focus on your own. We live in a world that is very focused on the outward apprenace this creates the shallow attitude we often see.. Yet really being presentable is important yet your pyscicall apperance has little to do with the person you are that hun comes from the inside and that is where all beauty lies.
there are many physically attractive yet very ugly ppl out there the main thing is you dont become one of them find a balance and live for you what makes you happy love yourself otherwise no other is able to love you. Find your peace with yourself as really there are only 2 things that matter in life yourself and those you love anything else is irelevent. Focus on your perception of yourself not what you belive others perceptions may be. You are beautiful that I can tell.

I have had the same experience with the women I am attracted to.
So far, my perceptions must be "off". I have been fortunate enough to marry to women that were are beautiful. Unfortunately, their looks were almost entirely on the surface, hence two divorces.
Don't be so critical of yourself, if a guy is attracted to you.......why would you think there must be something wrong with him for being attracted to you?
Many beautiful women tend to "fish" for compliments, yet they seem to not believe them when the receive them. Please explain that to me.

You think someone is only pretty if they are model pretty. You are setting your standards too high. Plus you shouldn't care about the outside (as much) as the inside.
