There is a guy I work with that I am attracted to. He's forty-two and I'm eighteen. It's bad, I know it is, but it's not something I can help. He's really young at heart, and he looks like he could be in his early thirties. Still too old I know. I have a lot of will power when it comes to liking someone, but this is different. I guess it's because I'm feeling sexually frustrated. I haven't had any sexual intimacy in a while and there's not to much to choose from right now in my life. But it's not like a last option sort-of thing, I really do like him, if he were only twenty years younger there'd be no question, but he's not. I just want to have a little fun, make-out with him maybe, that's all. Is it worth it? I work with him and I don't want to jeopardize my reputation within the company, which I haven't even thought about until now. :/ I don't know... What do you think I should do?

Dating an older man is what alot of women go for because they are more mature and are usually more responsible
but forty seems way to old
I mean there are young people I know they may be hard to find
but dont just go out with him for make out or sex or whatever I know you said you liked him but what happens after you guys have sex? will you not like him anymore
I think you should aim for a lower age
but if you really reallly like him and think that you can make it work by all means go ahead but make sure he is ok with it he might feel weird with you being 18 and doing younger stuff then a 40 year old would do lol

When I was young like you, I was attracted to older men too , finding that they had a maturity and experience that guys my own age just didn't have. I never regretted it, I had some great times! But two cautions. Please make sure he is not married and living with his wife and children - that will cause trouble. And if you work in the same company, it is better that you do not work together closely - other workers, especially women, do notice these things and it could create problems for you.

To mix work and pleasure is NEVER a good idea - it will jeopardize your reputation - to say the least!
You need to stay within your own generation - You are young - think of 20 years from now! - a person does not stay young - With the generation gap, ways are different - Think of you future and don't open the door. Be wise - Don't do that to yourself and to him!
Appreciate the person for who he is - never forget that people put their best foot forward - show their best side - it's idealistic. He is certainly not the way you see him!

The trick with dating older men is an obvious one.
MAKE SURE HE'S NOT MARRIED!

If he's single its probably okay, but there's always the potential he has kids, and if he's chasing 18 year olds there may be some issues, like he isn't taking you seriously because of your age, or that he's just a simple perv.

in this case all you are looking for is a little "slap and tickle" or sex --- being co workers means that really it is a bad idea --- not because of the age because of the possible legal ramifications --- if you were both interested in something long term then maybe something could be worked out --- in this case i suggest just keep it to work --- enjoy

properly i think of it a easy instinct for persons to be shielding rather with daughters at early age when you consider that they don't choose them be engaged formerly to issues which could lead them to sense sorry approximately interior the top. yet i don't likely accept as true with pushing them to settle while they're on the sumptuous age. I enable them to return to a variety issues with the help of themselves.

Look there is nothing wrong with dating older men, just make sure your doing it for teh right reasons you believe in. Sounds to me like your trying to convince us and yourself that he is teh right one for you. Sounds to me like he is a convenient booty call of the moment to you lol.
