I was a single mom of two, they are both adults now, I am not trying to be judgemental, but how can you forget you have a baby in the car. When we were riding in the car, and they were quiet, the first thing I did was to notice how quiet the car was. I had my mirror always on them. Just curious as to your thoughts thanks and have a wonderful day.

My daughters dad thinks that I called him yesterday and left a message on his cell phone.
First he said it was someone "crying" then he eventually cam around and told me that it sounded like someone having "intercourse" and he said it sounded exactly like me.
I didnt even call him at all yesterday nor would I do something that low. He said I'm still the only girl he talks to so it couldnt have been anyone else. I havent even been seeing anybody else or getting "out there".
It bugs me that he thinks I would do something like this.
should I still try and convince him that it wasnt me or should I just leave it be since I KNOW it wasnt me?

My wife had an affair with a much older married man before we were dateing. She claims it was a mistake that took place at least a year before we got together. (I'm not sold on that)
When we were dateing and engaged he would call her to get together when he came to town. The three of us went out to dinner several times. I had no idea about their romantic history at the time, otherwise I would never have gone along with it. I think he was still looking to hook up. My wife claims she wanted to "show me off to him". Until I learned of the affair she still corresponded with him over the phone and email. I suspect they both had a need to see each other and that my wife was not willing to ruin our relationship by sneaking around with him so she asked me to come along.
She even felt it was necessary to invite he and his wife to our wedding. She admits some guilt but claims their relationship was stricly a friendship after the affair ended. Does any of this make sense?

I haven't been going to school because i've been having problems, and since I haven't gone my mom won't let me go to Mexico with my dad and sisters and I really want to go. I don't know how to say sorry and then ask her if I can go. Please I really need some help before tomorrow. Thanx!

Why do they go all keen on you, persuade you to go out with them and then suddenly stop treating you well once you agree?
Why do they patronise you in front of your friends?
Why are they sometimes really sweet and nice and then other times totally weird and distant?
And how the hell can you tell, amongst all this weird behaviour, if they actually have any genuine feeling for you?
Are there any men who can actually articulate an emotion?

What are you doing about Christmas gifts for the new one? Are you buying gifts anyway even though they might not be here yet? I am so excited I already started buying. Also I am giving the parents money as part of the gift early to help with the new nursery. They are quite happy with that!

I started liking this one guy at school and i told my friend that i think that he is cute and she knows since 1st grade. she wants to hook us up but i don't really think that is a good idea cuz i want to get to know him better. this week my friend kinda made it obvious to him that i liked him by playing basketball with him and telling him that he was going to bring someone else to play with....me. but i didn't go. he is usually lonely and sometimes with 2 of his friends which are girls. i think he might like one of them. my friend asked him if he liked anyone and he said no. Before my friend made it obvious to him that i liked him he will always be staring at me in p.e. like i would have be having a good time with my friends laughing and then i look up and he is staring at me just smiling and he also does that when i enter school. At lunch i am with my friends and then i see him by us later with his 2 friends and he sometimes smiles at me. how can i be really sure he likes me?

O.k as you can see i'm african american and there is this cacusian girl at my school that i have lunch with on certain days. i know where her locker and stuff like that. I am the proud mother of a 18 month old daughter, and a 4 month old son. We have had mostly girls in my side of the family. My father always wanted a son and never did.

Anyhow, the trouble is that my father, their grandpa has acted weird towards my son since his birth. Not only was he not there when he was born at the hospital. They promised they would come out then and help while I recovered from my complicated c-section, but never came. We weren't expecting them to do anything if they came here but why make a promise and back out like that?

Finally they came out when my son was 3 months old to visit. But when they were here they acted like it was a vacation for them and my dad didn't even hold him twice the whole time and acted rude to DH.

I mentioned that maybe the new baby and I would come out to visit yesterday - dad was totally weird and said he wanted my daughter to come out with me instead. I just feel so strange now about my dad as a grandfather. Why is he like this?

Our friend is pretty clueless, to the point that he may have simply forgotten to give us a gift or card entirely, or perhaps thought that being there (he's from out of town) to congratulate us in person was enough. It wouldn't be a question of finances for him.

It's caused a bit of a quandry, though, since we're worried he gave a gift/card that got lost the day of the wedding. We don't want to embarass him, or seem greedy, but if he gave us a gift that was lost/stolen, we'd like to find out, and also thank him properly, rather than just saying 'thanks for coming' in our thank you note.

'Just ask him' is the tack we'll need to take (subtleties don't work with him), but the question is, how? It's a touchy subject, because it's very possible he's just forgotten, and also because it inherently implies that a gift was expected.

Heres the deal, my ex husband (who i CANT STAND!!-but keep it civil for the sake of out son) HITS on me EVERYTIME i go get my son.... He checks out my boobs, makes comments on my butt.... when we talk he keeps asking me "when am i gunna hit it... you know you want it".... we have not slept together since june of 2005..... I tell him to stop, i dont want to sleep with him, no thank you... EVERYTHING! i told my fiance and he is to the point where he wants to go and kick his a$$.... I have seen his new wife only once, and i told her that he hits on me.... but he has already put it in her head that i want him back... and that im a lier.... he makes stupid remarks alll the time about how good the sex was, and its okay since we have already done it, its not really cheating... blah, blah, blah....

My husband treats me very poorly, he is always mad, can be aggressive towards me and the children. Though he puts on a friendly nice guy act around most other people. He blames me for our money problems. It is getter harder and harder to live like this.
