As a generalized population of 50 year old men, I'd say that the sex drive doesn't diminish. I mean, anyone who is busy with other things in there life can get slowed down and not have sex as much, but I think the drive is still there. If it isn't, then they have pills and such or maybe he's just not interested in that particular women he's with anymore.

The drive to love, to be loved and wanted and admired never goes away. The pure, unadulterated horniness drive does diminish somewhat, due to work, stress, responsibilities and limited leisure time, but that sticks around too--the problem can develop that the desire for uncomplicated physical appreciation, stimulation and release can lead the eye to wander, for both sexes---
What diminishes that particular problem is making time for good loving for your partner. Time away from kids, careers, cares and deadlines. Time to remind each other how special and wonderful you are for each other, and how much you each love to be loved by the other. Don't wait for an opportunity, make one. Don't rely on spontaneous combustion--it takes two, ready, willing and able.at the same time.
Sex is as important at fifty as it was at twenty-five, and will be at seventy-five. The willingness, ability and agreement is all.

I am 63 years old.
I can tell you true the drive does not get weak at all.
Buttttt!!!!!!!! There are parts of our body that do change for some of us unlucky ones.
Sex drive still there but back away from having sex cause you could not preform like you did years back or that the thing you use is getting shorter with time. You do not want to dissapoint your wife.
If ones sex toy does not get long enough to reach, where and how, it needs to reach then you would more that likly be the same way.
No the sex dirve is still there but he will hide it from you. He does not want to dissapoint you so he fakes!!!!!!!!!!!
A man wants to satify his wife above all else. This is the man thing in him. If he feels he can not then he backs off times that were personel for both of them, cause he does not want to dissapoint her and leave her hanging.
He is very sad inside but nothing he can do about it.
