What are you doing about Christmas gifts for the new one? Are you buying gifts anyway even though they might not be here yet? I am so excited I already started buying. Also I am giving the parents money as part of the gift early to help with the new nursery. They are quite happy with that!

I'm not wasing money on newborn things. Maybe just a few things, the bulk is going towards the actual nursery itself.

Congrats! I have to wonder why you are wasting money on things for a newborn. Once the parents have all the essentials why not do something long lasting (rather than just more stuff) and start a college fund? Boring I know, but from a mom who's daughters are recent college grads, I wish they didn't have to take out so many loans.
