Yeah 27 is getting a bit long in the tooth to be acting like that.
Some perspective... I'm 26, I just bought a house, and I live with my fiancee of 9 years. I would never dream of going out to a bar until 4AM and coming home smashed, it's just not responsible or mature.

A couple of things could be going on here.
#1. Maybe he needs sometime for himself with the guys or something like that. Some guys need their own time to get away from everything. And some need to feel young again and this is how they do it.
#2. Maybe there is someone else. I hope not for your sake.
Regardless of what's going on, you need an explanation. Ask him. It is not fair to you to wonder and worry like that. Let him know how you feel and what is acceptable and what isn't to you.
As far as I'm concerned, you deserve an answer.

how often is it because if its under 5 times a month than i think you should just let him. sure maybe once or twice out of the 5 you can bust his chops but come on if hes with the boys(and not messing around) hes probably just geting his drunk on and waiting till hes sober enough to drive home. i do it all the time we come back from going out its late we have a few more beers at the pad bs and than its late we bs a while longer without drinking and take off when we are sober enough to drive.

Well, over time relationships get "stale". It happens.
I grant that you have every reason to be concerned about his immature behavior. It is understandable for someone to do those sort of things, but only on occasion. The guy sounds like a moron. He needs to learn about moderation.
I don't think that he has to stop behaving like that to prove he values the relationship. Like I said, moderation. I do think he has to stop behaving like that to prove he gives a shiat about himself and his future, which the relationship would be a part of.

Does not sound like he really gives a shot. May be has become WAY to comfortable in y'alls relationship. What if you went out with some of your friends when he went with his friends?

Every now and then a guy needs a "guy's night out" with his friends. Yeah they usually do stupid stuff like staying out till 4am drinking, but they need it. No clue why, but they do. I don't thankfully, I'm content staying at home watching TV haha.

He's taking you for granted. Tell him to shape up or get rid of him. He's too old to be still partying, time to grow up. If he goes out more than once a week then he's a loser and you're wastin your time with him.
