Yes and no.
Of course, the term "Yahoo" is an umbrella of different services and offerings on the internet. Many or most of them are completely acceptable to true Christians (such as Jehovah's Witnesses).
Others, such as the virtual "Personals" section, disagree with Jehovah's Witness ideas about avoiding anonymity in their close relationships. Such areas of Yahoo are hardly sinful, but they are not necessarily "for Jehovah's Witnesses".
(Hebrews 10:24,25) And let us consider one another to incite to love and fine works, not forsaking the gathering of ourselves together, as some have the custom, but encouraging one another, and all the more so as you behold the day drawing near.

If you are asking if Witnesses use Yahoo, yes, I am one, but then I also use Google. Not sure what this has to do with family, but there are over 6 million Witnesses worldwide, clearly preferences about search engines run the gambit.
If you are asking if Yahoo was made for Witnesses, I doubt it.

Why would it be for anyone one religion? That makes no sense. Is google only for catholics? is ask jeeves, only for jews? Obviously not. Almost everyone has a yahoo account or uses yahoo for some reason.

What do you mean by your question? Do you mean is it run by Witnesses? You need to be more specific.

Please do not let the door hit you on the behind on your way out. Yahoo is an internet server. The internet is for everyone, not just the prejudiced.
