Well unless you want to give a physical cue i.e. put your hand on his arm or something...you're going to have to ask him out...its not that hard...
Just say, "Hey Dr. So and So, do you want to get a drink with me later?" Men love women that are a little aggressive and cool to hang out with...
You'll get your answer
but if you lay back and try and give this guy wishy washy clues he'll never figure it out...he's a guy.
so don't be a sissy and just ask the guy...
Why is this so hard?
Why do I see this question posted hundreds of times?

He just may be too busy to date. Not every nice man is gay. Hard to believe that he is a Dr., cute AND single though....ask if he has any kids first off. If he says no it didn't get you very far in knowing if he is gay or not, but at least you opened the door. Ask if he has ever been married. He may then let you know if he is gay or not. If there is still no inclination just ask him if there is a rule that state he cannot date his patients. Make a light joke of it. Just come out and ask if it would be inappropriate for you to ask him for coffee. I am sure you aren't the only one that has or wants to hit on him.

1: if some one is single doesnt mean that hes a gay maybe he broke up just 10 days back
2: tell him can i ask u personal question?
dr: what
u: y don't u have a gf?
Dr: ANy reason
and then take it from there if he is interested in u then will give a hint if not then don't push him for any thing but if he is interested he will take to that level that u can flirt with him and he will ask u out

Doctors don't have much free time. Maybe he's just been really busy getting to the point of BEING your doctor!
When he asks you, as they always do, what have you been up to? Try something like "Oh, I just tried this new restaurant the other day. I hadn't been there before and it was pretty good. Do you enjoy that kind of food? etc...... If he comments positively, suggest he accompany you and some friends.....(safety in numbers) or just you.
If he says yes to either, just play it by ear!
Good Luck!

1. Schedule a "appointment" although you might not be sick... any sort of "time" with him will help
2. Casually bring up the topic of dating and gradually ask about his current relationship with anyone. Therefore you know whether or not he is gay...hopefully he will hint to you if he is!!!
3. Go for it guh! just casually ask him out to dinner or a movie. The worst he can say is no.
TAKE A CHANCE!! Let me know how it works out!

Well... that's a very strange situation to put yourself into. I wouldn't hit on my own doctor. If you have appointments with him, do NOT hit on him. He has a policy against relationships between doctor and patients. But if you catch him off duty just shopping around, then go for it.

If you do let him know chances are it will be the last time he sees you. You are going to lose your Dr. and if he is gay you've wasted your time any way.

Ask him if he is gay and tell him you think he must be gay because he is single. See how turned on he gets !

Ask him if he'd like to get coffee sometime. If he is interested also, he will accept. If he's gay, he might accept and then tell you over coffee. :-)
Good luck!
