When I went to the social security office to change my last name, I was told my new name HAD to be exactly the way I signed it on the marriage license. Well, when I signed the marriage license I signed my first name, left out my middle name completely, used the first letter of my maiden name, and then my new last name. I honestly feel like a piece of me is missing without my middle name of Rebecca and only the first letter of my maiden name. Is there any way to change this???

okay, i dont get along with my parents. my mother use to try attack me but i would always stop her and my dad would just stand there and not protect me. we would get in fights because i defend myself when she tells me i cant do something or calls me names. and once because i wouldnt giver her my check. anyways, over the years i have lost respect for both of them. I am very religious and am really involved in church. I am the only one in my family who is and I tried teaching my 6 yr old sis some prayers and she loved it, then I suggested they enroll her in cathecism and they blew up in my face and said they don’t need no help or anything from me and my opinion does not matter. By now comments like that don’t affect me cause they always say it.

So this may be a little difficult to verbalize but here goes. Me and my significant other are great together, I get him...he gets me we're madly in love. We're amazing together. He talks about getting married in 2 years and at first that didn't even phase me. But I've realized there are a few things we don't see eye to eye on. Well, alot of things but a few major ones. I don't know what to do. And yes we talk about it, but every time he starts getting snappy and I stand my ground too. I end up crying, he apologizes and we drop it...They're things that I know I can't compromise on if we are to have a future together but to him they're little things that shouldn't be a big deal. I don't know what to do!! I know I can pressure him into compliance but I don't want that haging over my head the rest of my life...what do i do?!

I'll be returning to work as of 9/17 on a part time basis. I've been a full time stay at home mommy for the last year. Our daughter is only 1 year old. My husband works a day time job and then his "hobby" as a part time job in the evenings... here's my problem. I'll be working 3 evenings a week from about 5-9pm. He's usually on the medic/fire dept the same 3 nights. He can shift things around a little because he's an officer.BUT he wants to get his mom or sister to come over in the evenings when he has our daughter to keep an eye on her because he states he cant get things done with her needing to be watched (DUH she's a toddler) He's a GREAT Dad! An AMAZING husband, but he's not sure how to care for her "on his own" as he put it. Anything I can do to help ease his anxiety and not get mad at him at the same time? I'm on my own and expected to get things done with just me and her, so why cant he for the 5-6hrs I'm gone? AND, my sister would be keeping her on the nights he's at station

My husband and I have been married for almost one year, we have a 9 month old daughter. But are love life has droped because of me. I am always tired and after spend all day with the baby i don't want to be touched. I also just don't feel pretty. I have some strech make from being pregnant and still have about 15 pounds to loss to be where i was before i had the baby. because of these thing i don't want to ever have sex. Well, we have been together since I was 16, I am now 20. We have two daughters, he has a real alcohol problem, when he drinks he acts like an real jerk, he talks sh*t, sometimes acts violent, basically I hate him when he drinks and he hates me when he drinks. I have left him a couple of times because I am just tired of the drinking, when I am gone he tells me that he is gonna change, he goes to church, says that he doesn't drink when I am gone. Now I am once again gone away due to the drinking, but of course again he is a changed man, but I cannot believe him at all, I've took his word before and it never is true, then when I do talk to him he just tells me you have to take the good with the bad and that I need to be a women and stop running from my problems, but I have done everything for this man, he has two other children that he has custody of, I take care of them of them for the past two years. I am really confused on the right way to go about doing this, he don't want to change!

ok so when i was in elementary school i asked questions about periods and bras to mom but as i got older when i talked about it with my mom she would act all nervous and not want to talk about it so i stopped.
Im 17 and had my period since i was 12 and 1/2 and i never told her. I bought all my bras with out her knowing but she now knows i wear them because she said i should get one last year. I picked my bras out by myself since i was 11.
I started wearing make up w/o asking my mom if i could but i knew if i asked she would say ok.
I bought my own deoderent w/o her knowledge.
I think i would of been closer to her but i feel she pushed me away... does it sound like i have a bad realtionship with my mom?
I did so much w/o her that i feel we will never be close.
I also wanted to be close to her but she pushed me away and know when she tries to hang out with me and talk i feel uncomfterble that i just cant talk to her, that i leave

Im freshmen and i been going to the same school for about..3 years or so and im still not use to being in this type of envierment!!! theres all "white" people there dont get me wrong i dont have a prolbem with them but... they look judge me cuz the color of my skind and how i dress and how i speack den theres a BIG issue there i barly have any friend in that school most of my best friends go to a diffrent school

I feel so alone everyday! and i dont know if i should just stay in that school or transfer...i really want to tranfer soo bad!! Ill even take the bus if i have to!!!
but my parents keep telling to stay but i dont whant to and i dont know how 2 change there minds

Me and my boyfriend having been exclusively seeing each other for the past two years. We are both virgins and believe that we should be married before we have any type of sexual relations with each other. Recently our relationship has become a long distance one since we are both starting our second year of college. Her name is Catherina, usually called katie, either way, i call her my Tic-Tac. I'm about 17, which i understand is pretty young, and she's about 16.started hanging out over summer, and it was incredible. i loved it! we played the Wii, and watched movies, talked, i helped tutor her. I decided to wait a bit to make sure the relationship was right for me. So after waiting, i finally made a move watching High School Musical 2, and it was great. so the next time we were able to hang out, i asked her out. and her brother was okay w/it, and he's super protective. her mom and dad thought i was extremely mature for my age, they talked about how great i was. so i really fell for this girl, but i can't say im in love. her dad wanted her to focus on school more, so she had to break up w/me.
