Would you hold it against your husband for saying something that really hurts you, in the heat of a bad fight, when you say mean things too? We are seeing a counselor right now. He usually says mean things after I hit, these fights don't happen too often but, when they do I feel terrible. Please be honest, but only nice anwers, please. I know I have to work on myself I
had a hard childhood, my brother was a bully and very volatile
I remember always living in fear that something would tick him off. My husband and I have 2 boys 1 and five. My husband is not all that bad we both work, and he's a hard worker, does housework and is a good dad. I just think he should be more considerate of my defensiveness. I just hate when he shows anger towards me, because of my childhood I don't handle it very well. I really feel like geting a divorce, relationships are too hard, I just can't handle them, I just want to be alone with my 2 boys. Words hurt. advice?

I know someone who is in a sexually abusive relationship. For 3 months I have been trying to convince her to take action but the progress we are making is slow. She would like to meet people who have shared her experience. It could help her. Please answer if you are interested.

PS—No retarded answers like "tell her call 911" or "tell her to dump him". As if I haven't tried, geniuses. For those who'll ask what the question is, it's, have you had this experience and are you willing to talk to my friend?

My last question asked why some women are disguested by porn. And one woman made a good point that porn lacks an emotional backstory. Which 9 out 10 times I could buy, but it seems to me everyone at some point wants to skip the lovey dovey romance and just wants to get to have some physical fun.

Now before you call me a pervert. Sex is an act, like running and swiming. Sometimes people have an emotional reason to run, like you are being chased down the street by a dog. But sometimes people just like to run for the hell of it.

So what about sex. I think women who are so disguested by porn probably feel that way because they don't understand the idea of sex purely for physical enjoyment. Because they likly don't enjoy sex on a purely physical level. They enjoy it on an emotional level which is great, but I wonder do most women ever just love sex purely on the physical level of having sex?

My bff and I have made out and took care of each others needs a few times lately. It usually happens after a night out and we find ourselves horny but neither has a boyfriend and don't want just anyone between our legs.

We don't do toys or anything. Just cuddling, kissing and some oral. We both still love guys and if I had a steady,I wouldn't mess with her anymore. I admit that I do enjoy being with her in that way.
Any other girls who have been there please contact me.

I've been dating since my last relationship, and I never get a second date. The phone calls dwindle, too. On the dates I do not come on to them, I try to keep it very platonic. I try not to discuss my sex life.

Are they dropping me cuz they think they won't get to sleep with me? Do they think I don't find them interesting or attractive? Or is it simply not a good match between us?

I only ask this because some of these guys are cool to hang out with (and cute, too), however I am not sexually attracted to them...(I'm not a lesbian if you're wondering, lol).

So my ex girlfriend who I still have really deep feelings for is still living in our hometown while I am away at school. She is supposed to come visit me in a couple weeks and we talk on the phone often. She went out drinking the other night with one of her friends and when I called her, she said she'd call me in the morning. I got a voice mail from her at 1 am while I was asleep and havn't heard from her since. I called and left a voice mail telling her I was worried and that I would like to hear from her just to know she was OK, and that I knew she was at work (or supposed to be) so I would wait to hear from her when she got off. I'm afraid something happened, should I call her?

Hi everyone,
I would like to buy an engagement ring for my girlfriend but I was thinking of buying the matching wedding band as well. When I propose to her, do I propose to her with both of the rings (the matching wedding band and engagement ring) or do I store the wedding band until the wedding and show her later? The reason why I would like to buy the matching wedding band also is because I do have money now and later I may have more headaches, payments, wedding costs, and possibly not afford of a nice one as I can now. Thank you for your answers,
Dave

I've already told him in very clear ways I want out, but due to his deep Christian beliefs, he doesn't believe in divorce.

The townhouse in which we live is included in my pay, so he should leave, plus he couldn't afford it on his own. It's a 3-bdrm (as I have two children), so he wouldn't need that kind of room.
I don't believe in making things ugly or hard in a break-up. How would you get him to leave? Thank you in advance.

My friend from HS (known 9 yrs) Called me last yr and we started to talk more, and on a more romantic basis (saw him over the holidays, kissed him). He is a marine and has since been deployed to Iraq. I sent him letters while he was there, and he called me about once a week. We became more romantically linked while he was there. He told me over the phone 2 months ago that he loved me. The problem is he still loves his other friend Ash (but still wants to be with me.) He has become very confusing on this matter, one time calling me his gf, then saying he wanted no relationship with anyone, and back to wanting to give us a try. Ash is still posting all over his Myspace that she "misses her USMC, Someone in Iraq loves me" and he isn't taking it down. She is still his #1. I am going to see him when he comes home (FRI). I don't want to stress him, but if he wants to be with me, shouldn't he address the issue of her? I am afraid he will say "you don't trust me" This is killing me.

Real short, had a get together at my house, one of my girlfriends hubby has a very professional job, nice guy, very respectful, great father. His wife who is a very dear friend is quite heavy, but very pretty and is alot of fun. We try to support her to lose the weight, but I guess she will do it when she's ready. Anyway, she was walking down to the pool area and started to dance, her husband made the comment to me and another girlfriend of calling it an "EARTHQUAKE" I felt so bad that he said that about her (his own wife). He meant it. Me and my other friend didn't say a word. I hate to say anything cuz I don't know him like I know her, but we can all see he isn't happy with her at all because of her weight. He admires the rest of us but not his wife and she is so perfect in every other way. Should I tell him off or just let them work out their own problems?

One Indian girl filed for divorce for not living with her husband for 4 years. After filing, plenty of adjournments and in the due course she met another person became intimate and he wants to marry her. I heard that it is legal if a girl awaiting divorce gets married under protection that she married for safety, security and as protection. But if a man gets married before the divorce procedure is over - it is illegal. So can the girl get married-- yes or no. Only Indian legal professionals answer pls.

Hi,there! I've been working abroad for 8 months now. I'm have been married to my wife for 2 years now. We got a 15 month old girl. Latety, I have been having doubts whether my wife really loves me because she does not seem to want to call me. I'm always the one who reminds her to call me from time to time,if she is not busy. When we chat through Yahoo Messenger, she seems not excited to talk to me. When I ask her questions, she will sometimes reply with 2 or 3 words. I suspect that she maybe changing. How can I really tell whether my wife really loves me? I don't want to ask this from her. She will just answer back that I'm doubting her again.

My husband and I have been married over seven years. We have been arguing for the past week and over the weekend he tells me he has been unhappy in our marriage for the past two years. Why is he just saying this now--after two years? And why would he stay in a relationship for so long when he is so unhappy? He is NOT cheating--I KNOW this is not the case. But how do I move forward? Do I stay in the relationship and a--hope he gets happy with it or b--decides he is still unhappy after two more years and leaves then? I am happy in this marriage (my second-his first) and love him with all of my heart. We don't have any children and I am torn with what to do here? Do I tell him to leave? Stay and work on it? How can I know he's truly happy if it has taken him two years to voice it now?

I'm in the process of taking a break from dating in order to re-group and re-evaluate. I have already noticed my tendency to swing back and forth from the quiet or shy types who seem lack initiative and the exciting "player" or busy-aholic types who quickly become bored in relationships and need to run around. I want someone who has learned how to make a commitment and be stable and present in the relationship--and who also knows when it is time to get down, party, and go out paint the town. (Movies, dancing, dining, mad passionate lovemaking...)

I am a very attractive youngish forty-something poet, emerging singer, and college professor who has learned to strike this balance. Players are sexy, but not relationship material.. Party-animals are fun--for a little while. Activists are exciting, but seldom know how to create a stable and loving homelife. Poets are dreamy and idealistic. And the "normal," quiet, sensitive, stay-at-home kind are nice but...

Any ideas?

My back was toward him so I'm not sure, but the movement was from the lower area and shaking...then wiping! What else am I to belive? I wrote him a note in his luch asking him whats up with last night, so we'll see. But how would you react?
Our sex is really great but I've had my period and then for the last 4 days we've been arguing.
