When you make large purchases, such as furniture, who ultimately decides on the final purchase?
What if your tastes are so different?

Do you steer clear of a woman who stands up for herself and has the strength to tell you when she believes that you are wrong. I mean in a tactful manner not like a shrew or is nasty. I hate nasty people myself.

I just had a first date. He asked me out. He paid for the coffee. He paid for my movie ticket. He did not offer to pay for my popcorn and coke. I've never had a man not offer to pay for everything when he was the one that asked me out so I was very surprised. Should a man pay for everything on the first date if he asked you out? I was raised and taught that man should pay for everything out of courtesy since he was the one that invited.

Please state your age if you are under 35 since there will probably be a difference in view points from the younger generation.

Thanks!

Guys I am asking this from the womans point of view. I am aware that you see it the other way around. But there are things that obviously the guy is responcible for and why doesn't he just step up to the plate and take the responciblity for it and change it himself if he is so unhappy?

My best friend called and asked for my honest opinion and advice and I was completely honest with him.....Now, I am second guessing myself. The only thing is for the first time I told him that he deserves happiness and peace, and don't we all deserve that?
Peace.

Here's the problem.
My older brothers who are over 24+ came and starting living with my father and I. They dont pay for anything and they eat everything in the house, it pisses me the **** off. I tried telling my dad to take charge and tell them to get the **** out but he wont or he'll feel bad and he's too much of a softy. So any ideas on how to get these ******* out of the house?

OK here's my story. I just started school at a community college, and I have no friends. That's not just in school, but outside of school as well. There's another layer to my delima, and that is I'm gay. So how do I make friends without scaring them off, because I just happen to be gay?

I have a friend who is pregnant and is having many issues with her boyfriend (the daddy). She's not happy with him and I can see why. He's inconsiderate, takes her for granted, always breaks plans with her, and isn't doing "soon-to-be-daddy-like things" like rub her belly, talk to the baby...things like that. I think she's scared to be alone so doesn't leave him. I listen to her, support her, but she always "forgives" him when he says he's sorry and things will change (which they never do). So naturally she has her doubts about him. Should she leave him when they're happy 30% of the time? Will it be easier for the baby? What else can I do for her?

I think I'm in love with a very good friend of mine but he doesn't feel the same way about me. We act like were a "couple" all the time but he's made it clear that we're "just friends". We spend almost everyday together, enjoying each others company but as soon as his ex comes back in the picture he acts completely different. He is so hot and cold with me and I don't know what to do. I've recently told him straight up how I feel towards him and he's been very considerate of my feelings up to this point but I but I don't know how to make him understand that I want more out of our friendship.

Why is it that, more women than men choose to beleive a lie intead of the truth? I told my, now X AGAIN, a straight forward bold face lie. It was a test, a stupid one I guess now. Trying to see exactly what she thought of me. Boy did I find out, the hard way. Is it the fact that the lie sounds more exciting than the truth or WHAT????

My gf of 2 years started talking to this redneck guy on myspace, I asked her about it, and she denied anything going on. Then, she say's I have trust issues, but THEN she say's her and him are interested in each other. She said she got nervous when we talked about moving in together and that I need to experience more girls (this is my first serious relationship and I am 24). She had not even met this guy yet, but now she has and apparently "everything is good thus far." This is immature, but she even moved me to number 2 on her myspace and I did the same and she said it was immature of me! We have been exchanging email talking about random things, but I don't know if I should go to her house right now to talk to her in person. Everything was fine a few days ago. She dropped out of school too and she is a really good student (we are in college btw). I loved her because she was so nice..but this isn't nice obviously. I was so comfortable with her. I have social anxiety and I can't meet

Right, my boyfriend of two years has just left me for another girl! I am still in shock, however I always could never find fault with him in any way, he was perfect in every way. But clearly now I see he is cruel. I loved him with all my heart, so so much. I still love him but if he did decide he wanted ME back I don't think I could after this. He got me through the death of my mum 2 years back and I got him through his problems I won't go into. We've been through so much together and had such great times together too and he has thrown it away. I know he can't have loved me to do this, but my question is, is it possible to ever love any one as much again? I can't imagine anyone who could ever mean as much to me as he did...thanks

Yeahh..I know. *Insecurity*...I'm just wondering what people's opinion would be.
Please be honest and rate from 1-10

Pretend this is the type of friend you have:
-Doesn't hang out with you at all in the summer and barely during school time
-Contact is mostly in school (lunch, class, HR, lockers, gym, anywhere else) but still calls on the phone once and a while
-Does talk to you about things that happened in life
-Tries to hang out but usually never succeed
-Complains a little in life (not exactly a pessimist)

Thank you? +__+

I went to a concert with a girlfriend over the weekend, and we got horribly drunk. We ended up taking a guy back to our hotel room, and had sex with him. I had the worst feelings of guilt and ended up telling him. He's crushed, and told me that I'm disgusting and a whore, and I'm terrified he's going to leave me. We have a 1 year old son together, and I don't want him to not have both parents around.

Here's where it gets a little complicated.......We used to go to a swingers club regularly and have had sex with other couples, but always together, and we had our rules. The night that I was at the concert, he had a call girl at the house, and even though all they did was oral sex, it still happened, but I also knew about it.

I'm trying to find a way to fix things between us, but he won't even talk to me. I love this man with all my heart, and I don't want to lose him.

the other night he came home after having a few beers and was in a mood! Our 18 month old woke up in the middle of the night and I could not get her back to sleep. My husband tried too but since he was drunk, i didnt want him to handle baby. I said something to him (dont remember what) that made him mad and he was standing in our baby's room holding our child and jacked me up against the wall and choked me - twice - while holding baby with the other hand!
I am still in such shock that he could do that especially while holding our child. He has never done anything like this before and of course he was sorry the next day. I am just too disgusted for words and dont know how if ever I can forgive his 'Jerry Springer like" behavior. It felt like a real low life scene and we arent like that. I am so hurt that our child witnessed this even at such a young age I think they know whats going on. I cant help but think that there is a deeper issue since this came from out of the blue

I pick fights about everything. The way he drives, talks in front of our son, eats in front of our son, being scared of spiders, and the way he watches tv. I know I'm not happy and I know I want out. But I'm scared to take him away from our son and our son away from him. When I go home and know that he will be there it makes me sick. While we are having sex it's ok for him to touch me but afterwards I feel like I need to throw up because he had to touch me. If it were up to me we wouldnt have sex at all. Help I need a safe way out without hurting everyone around me. or any advice.
