Braille is the system that blind people use for reading and writing.
The phrase "love is blind" means the partner is aware of the faults of the other, but love them unconditionally. They act as if the faults are not there, they don't dwell on the faults only the good in their partner. This is similar to behaving as if one was "Blind".
