I'm 19 and I usually date guys 18-25. Anytime the subject of sex comes up (a couple of months into the relationship), it's like the relationship has to end. I'm a virgin, and I plan to stay one for sometime. Anytime I tell a guy, three things usually happen. They say "We can work it out" and then they dump me a week later, "we can work it out" and then they cheat on me with a promiscuous female, or they start laughing until I tell them that it's not a joke.

I guess this is my question: Should I be up front and say "Before we start dating u should know that I'm a virgin, and I don't plan on having sex anytime soon," (very awkward) or should I continue this road of rejection anytime sex pops up. It's really starting to bug me.

so, I need everyones help. I am dating the most amazing guy out there, he treats me perfect, like a queen, he's so respectful. and we don't need anything but eachother to be happy, just being in his arms makes my whole day. we are perfect together.... but theres a catch.... he is 19, and i am under age. my mom isn't alright with me dating guys because she is afraid i will get hurt... but she knows Nic very very well and trusts him, our whole family has known him for about 3 years. we have been dating behind her back and finally have discided that it cant happen anymore, that she deserves to know, we both respect her to much. so we are both willing to talk to her and break her the news, but my biggest concern is that she will not allow him to come by anymore, and will not approve, please, this isn't just another high school relationship to us, but something serious... love. Please, anyone and everyone, give me idea's of things to say, it would help very much, especially since i am planning on doing this today, just please, give me your idea's, thank you so much for your time.

I've had friends who share everything with their special other from diaries to e-mail passwords they share EVERYTHING.

So I wonder if it's really necessary. My boyfriend has a similar outlook but I'm not so sure I understand the importance of it. I'm an extreme introvert and I tend to keep my space and deep thoughts to myself. Should I really step out of my comfort zone?

me and my friend were skateboarding on our lunch break and then out of nowhere he just fell head first on the concrete...i wanna take him to hospital but he said its no big deal and that hes not paying $1000 just for nothing....but he cant stay at work cuz hes messing things up...he keeps forgetting things and putting stuff in the wrong places...but hes stubborn and still wants to keep working..what should i do???should i take him to the hospital anyway??

okay so theres this guy and he is 17. i really really like him but im only about to turn 16. i specifically told him i will not have sex with him at least till im 18 or if i was ever to marry him and he is okay with that. He is a very decent person and understands me really well. He does have and past and he did drop out of school but he went back and got his GED, and now he is going to college to be a nurse. Im willin to give him a chance but my parents dont want to give him a chance. I do understand their side and agree with them in a lot of ways, but i still want them to give him a chance. tell me what u think? i am being completely honest cause i need answers. i make strait a's in school, i plan to be a neonatal nurse, i dont like to lie, i have never snuck out, and i have morals that i follow. i am not who i am cause anybody wants me to be this way. I dont understand why my parents dont trust me with this guy and it breaks my heart that they dont cause they have no reason not to. i really want to be with this guy. he treats me right and makes me feel important. someone tell what to say to my parents????

My daughter is 22 and stubborn as the day is long-yes, I suppose she gets it from me.
My daughter used to respect me but the last 3 years her behaviour has changed-Not for the better.
She has been rude and selfish. I have always given to her without reservation.
She married someone I do not like and has a daughter of her own now. I am the Grandmother technically but she has not allowed me to see the baby because I don't like her husband.
I offered to stay at a hotel, just to see them and not him, it would only be for 3-4 days since they live in Florida and I live in Ohio. She declined my offer without hesitation. She does not call or write me. I have told her some pretty hateful things in retailiation to her and her husband's mistreatment of me. I have been waiting for her to apologize but nothing. The baby is now 14 months old and I fear she will never know me.
I think my daughter is extremely unfair to use a tactic like this to hurt me.

Ok, I'm 23 and live in san diego and my girlfriend lives in boston. I really screwed up. I was on craigslist answering personal ads for a while and when she visited she found them on my email. I never actually met with anyone in person or even talked on the phone. I know what I did was completely wrong and disrespectful and I am ashamed of myself for it. I am trying to become a better person now and have started going back to church.I want to marry this girl but I'm afraid that I have ruined it forever. Does anyone think I have a chance? My husband suffers from a mental illness for which he refuses to be treated. He's cheated on me, abuses me emotionally, and flies into paranoid rages.( he used to abuse me physically) but always denied it. I need to end this Craziness, but police say they cannot do anything. We'd been together since we were 16. Divorced 2 months. I've been addicted the whole time. I went to rehab and have been sober for 40 days. I want her to see me trying. I have a good job and was never abusive. We have issues with money and trust as most relationships involving addiction do. She wants children and didn't want to have them with an addict. Our love is not in question. I need to let her know how hard I'm trying and that I'm never going back to that life. If I'd only changed 1 month earlier we'd still be together. I know I have things to prove and can be patient. I just don't know what to say to let her know my intentions. How do I do that without seeming like a broken record. I'm willing to do whatever it takes. Her family is a big problem as well. They don't like me and I don't blame them, but if 2 people love each other and have a chance at happiness I think they should try. I know I can fullfill her life. What do I say to make her watch my efforts to prove it.

Okay, before I ask this, I'm not bragging, I'm no sex god and I certainly don't think I'm god's gift to womankind. This is not an ego thing. But...

I think I'm a fairly average looking guy, with a reasonable personality, and I'm not rich. For some reason though I always find that it's easier to hook up with women who are better looking and more attractive than me. The ones who I think are about my level are never interested in me, as they always seem to have incredibly high standards.

I'm certainly not complaining, but what the hell is going on here?

My theory is that the gorgeous girls are used to arrogant meatheads hitting on them, they've seen it all before and aren't impressed, so they like it when a more honest, down to earth guy has the courage to approach them. The average looking girls on the other hand want great looking guys because they have a more rose-tinted idea of what they're going to get.

What does anyone else think?

I'm 99.9% sure i'm in love with my boyfriend. i dont ever want to leave his side- and when i do..i just want to be right next to him again. I want to spend the rest of my life with him. we talk about what kind of house we'll have, what ur child would be like, what kind of puppy we want, etc. he makes me extremely happy and i adore him. when i'm in his arms, i feel so unbelievable safe and just wish i could get as close to him as physically possible. but..my heart doesnt always race really fast when i'm with him [sometimes..but not always], i dont really get that electric feeling i've been told and read about, i dont get butterflies really either....i feel like i should though. would you say i am in love? does anyone else feel this way?

I met a guy online over a year ago. We didn't meet in person until a couple months of chatting on the phone due to various reasons. When we met, it was perfect. We weren't like strangers. It was as if we knew eachother for years because of all of the phone calls. Our first date was perfect and it ended with a 20 minute kiss. A week later we got together again, and lets just say that for the 5 hours that we were together, 4 of those hours our faces were pressed against eachothers. Perfect.
