Our family had 9 kids and we all had to wear hand me downs so we always got made fun of the way we dressed and it really hurt our feelings most times and kids can be so cruel .I think it is really stupid to make fun of ppl cause of the way they dress maybe that is all they can afford .I would not like it even these days .

I'd feel indifferent. Plus, they've obviously noticed that I've got my own style, and if it's enough to grab their attention, then my job here is done.
Who are they to judge your own personal style? It sounds cliche`, and I know it is, but really, as long as you feel comfortable in what you're wearing, that's all that matters.
Just, if you're gonna wear a short skirt, undahpants plz.

It hurts but it's really them that are afraid to be different or to stand out.
If someone does that ask why they feel like they have to be sheep to what society tells them to do? Who's to say what 'cool' is? A&F? Gap? They're not cool - they are corporate America trying to tell you what to wear, how to act, and what sexy is.

I've been through that. Don't conform to what other people think. Be yourself, be true to yourself, and you'll come out so much better for it. Best of luck!

well too late for me. people labled me as "emo", but i realized cuz its true. so i dont care what people say and think becuz they have no life anyway
