I got a quick question for all of you women. What is the best opening line for a guy who is interested in you or wants to go out with you?

Here are some examples:

1) "Dental Floss...Before or after you brush?"
2) "Can you take a sincere compliment, so can I so you go first"
3) "So whats the worst pick up line you've heard so far"
4) "Hey my mom has the same necklace you're wearing"
5) "So what do you got going for yourself other than your looks"
6) "I need a girls opinion about my necklace"
7) "Hey, my friends got that dress"
8) "I like your short hair but you'd be prettier with longer hair"
9) "You remind me of my grandma.....you have the same energy she has."
10) "Do you beleive in ESP? Think of a number between 1 and 4."
11) "Hi my name is....."(I think this one is really lame because it creeps a lot of girls out)

Would any of these work on you? If not, got anything better or funnier to engage in conversation?

I have joint custody now. When the kids aren't with me they are with her mother. I have them 2 weeks a month and her mom keeps them the rest of the time. Thier mom come and gets them from time to time, mostly just for the day and takes them back to her moms. I have tried to get them through the courts, but her mom and dad lies for her and says that she keeps them because they don't want to give the kids up. This has been going on for 4 1/2 years now. My twin sons are now 5. She smacks them in the mouth,lets them smoke from time to time, beets them with a belt (can't never find bruises or marks). Those are just a few thing that the kids have admitted to me and socail services. I can't seem to get anywhere with my case. Everytime court comes into play the mother starts coming back around and acting like she has always been there, day in and out, and starts playing head games with the kids. Anyone having any sugestions or answers, sneaky or not, please help. Thanks, from a desperate dad.

Does anyone have a problem where your girlfriend doesn't trust you even though she has no reason not to? Here is my situation - I love her and we have been together for over two years, we live together. She has no job, ZERO friends. She spends her days at home, walking our dog, tanning and occasionally cleaning. Then when I come home she smothers me and gives me NO time to myself. I pay all of our bills, her bills and even gave her a credit card that I pay. If that weren't bad enough, she has the nerve to track EVERYthing I do. She tries to get on my computer when I walk away from it. She reads my email, she looks up my sceen names and email addresses online to track what I am doing. She joins the same sites I go on so she can monitor everything I do!

Any advice on how I can get rid of her would be greatly appreciated. I care about her so I have no problem taking care of her for a while as she makes arrangements so please be considerate. Thanks!

So, my now x-bf of 4.5 years picks stupid fights. Here is an example, tell me if you think it's bs, or if i'm wrong:

My dad's b-day was coming up. Family tradition to go out to eat and have cake. He has never wanted to come with me. Which is sad to me, but have come to accept it. When i told him my dad's b-day was coming up, he said 'good, i'll have a day to myself, i have lots of stuff to do', i said ok.
Then, on that day, he called me and was all upset because i didn't care enough to make plans with him before or after my family gathering. Which i always do, but not this time 'cause he said he wanted to take all day to do his pending stuff. I explained why, but he just repeated that i don't care, and that everything comes before him. What the hell!!, right?

I ask 'cause now he's making me feel like i dumped him for no real reason aside from just not loving him. I feel like he was pushing me to break up with him, but now he says if it were up to him we would be together.

Ok. I am 19, and i have a sister who is 21. We live together with my mom (we're pretty poor, lowl, so dont say move out, its not an option right now) And i just cannot stand her anymore. I feel like im going to beat the snot out of her. She is just COMPLETLY unreasonable. She will not listen to anyone, and she is completly selfish. A few examples:

I was making lunch, and she asked me to make an eggroll, which i did, and she just let it sit there for 3 hours, so my mom comes home and does the dishes, and mentions she threw the eggroll away she gets all bitchy, yells my mom out, and runs out for a few hours

I was at a cook out and she comes out yelling and screaming at my dad who had gone into her room (which she no longer lives in, my dad lives in his own house) that he had thrown stuff away, and now she needs to "sort through the shattered remnants of her life" It was all trash. She even has a rabbit up there that she doesn't take care of, she is yelling and crying and runs out.

I know a couple that have known each other since last December. They started 'seeing' each other in about the end of Jan-Feb. It's nothing but great, and both of them can't see their lives without the other. For example; Kids? They can only see the other raising them too. They are both very mature people in their own ways(they have gone through a lot of things, respectively), and the future for both look startlingly bright, even counting if they went through with a marriage or even 'promise rings'. I'm perfectly confident that they can handle themselves in a higher relationship, but some others that have seen this do not think so. The older turned 19 today, and the younger is around 17 1/2, with a May birthday.

Even while knowing that they are basically already so committed to each other in probably the most mature relationship I've ever seen, I'm going to ask; do you think it is too young?

S How do I transfer from friendship to relationship?
So my guy friend and I spend alot of time with each other. There isn't one second of our free time that we don't spend together. We have been like this for a good four months. Well two months into it, it started to be more than that. We have been messing around for these pass two months and he just recently told me he is not ready for a relationship. ( He had been seeing someone the first two months we were hanging out but is over that past relationship) What I don't understand is he says he isn't ready for a relationship but we are basically dating without the title. I mean he hasn't been pushing the sex card so I know it's not all about hooking up. We hold hands when we are driving in the car. He pays for me when we go places. He shows affection towards me in front of his friends and sometimes blows them off for me. Everyone thinks we are dating or that we should be but he doesn't want to make it official. my dad says never marry a woman just have sex and a good time even if you have 10 babies never worry just enjoy yourself and forget about love.
he say all love is ..is for fools and if you can fool a woman then go for it.

I have a myspace account. I love keeping in touch with my friends & family. I am single & although I do not have my profile stating anything other than wanting to meet friends, I sometimes have guys pop on an email to chat. Recently, a guy several years younger than me did just this, he sent me an email asking if we could chat sometime & become friends. We have exchanged several emails over the last few weeks. And so far, I really like him. He is different than most guys I've dated or gotten to know... How can i determine if he wants to just be friends or if he is interested in me? I've left subtle hints as to why I'm not seeing anyone. He on the other hand hasn't stepped into this topic at all. In fact, he hasn't asked me any questions other than, "how was your weekend?" But he has spent time writing lengthy letters to describe what he does & what he has acomplished in life... I don't want to be too forward... help me out?

Well me (female) and my best freind (male) have always flirted around each other, and we always play around. I met him through an online dating service, we've been dating for a couple of months now and he is Absolutely amazing. Problem is that he wants to go back to Germany to finish off his Architecture degree. I am at the end of my rope with my husband. He says he doesn't love me, doesn't want me, that he can't stand me... but that he wants to make our marriage work. I cannot live like this anymore! I know we are headed for divorce. We have two children together and I am due in a few weeks with our 3rd child. I have been a stay at home mother most of our married life and obviously cannot support myself right now at 9 months pregnant. I want sole custody of my kids with child support and alimony. Will I get this in court? Or do I need to hire a lawyer to help me fight for it? I have proof that my husband has basically checked out of this marriage and is just dragging me and the kids through the mud because he can't make up his mind what he wants in life. He has also had 5 affairs (we were on Dr. Phil) and been physically absent most of our marriage. Do I need a lawyer or will the judge side with me regardless?
