my bestfriend,and i work together with this HOT GUY at work.she knows i like him,and she said she would never get in the way with me likeing him,but then one day she went over to that guy,and started flirting with him.what should i do??????

It sounds like a case where you snoozed and losed. She beat you to the hot guy and flirted with him first. Now if you would have took initiative, then you would be gettingt he guy's attention and she would be asking this question on Yahoo Answers and not you.

Since she did exactly the opposite of what she said, then she went against her word that she would leave the guy alone. Since she flirted with her, then you go flirt with the guy too. But beware of the potential of ruining your friendship.

There is option B. Go find another guy to hit on and get interested in. Except next time, keep your interest in future guys to yourself. It always happens. Everytime you tell your friends that you like someone romantically, someone else in your clique with chase them.

Go for him yourself. Obviously your friend has no regard to your feelings and she wants what you want. Ask him if he wants to hang out sometime. Maybe catch a movie. Also I would let your friend know that real friends don't do that to each other. If she continues, maybe you need a new friend.

if youre not going to flirt with him... then she should.
i think its first come first serve. its not fair to tell her to get away from a guy that you want and are going to do nothing about.
