S How do I transfer from friendship to relationship?
So my guy friend and I spend alot of time with each other. There isn't one second of our free time that we don't spend together. We have been like this for a good four months. Well two months into it, it started to be more than that. We have been messing around for these pass two months and he just recently told me he is not ready for a relationship. ( He had been seeing someone the first two months we were hanging out but is over that past relationship) What I don't understand is he says he isn't ready for a relationship but we are basically dating without the title. I mean he hasn't been pushing the sex card so I know it's not all about hooking up. We hold hands when we are driving in the car. He pays for me when we go places. He shows affection towards me in front of his friends and sometimes blows them off for me. Everyone thinks we are dating or that we should be but he doesn't want to make it official. Is it that he wants to date he just doesn't want to date me? WHAT IS IT? help

Are you serious? I just explained that we have ben messing around. So telling me to just kiss him is a little ridiculous seeing how it happens alot.

who cares what labels you put on your relationship --- enjoy and let it develop --- he is scared i would suggest at calling this dating and that you are girlfriend/boyfriend ---- you know how he feels about you and he knows how you feel about him --- thats all that really matters isnt it??? ---- have fun

Maybe he's comfortable where you two are now and doesn't want to jeopardize it by stepping it up with the L word or sex. But you also shouldn't allow yourself to sit and wait for him. Over a dinner(that he's probably gonna pay for), just seriously ask him where he wants to go with it. If you feel it,tell him you're game for whatever,but you can't be waiting for him and you need to know.

guys can be confusing like this @ times. maybe he feels that the word " relationship " is to much pressure. If things are good the way the are now who cares about the title? just let things play them selfs out.

Just make a move on him. Kiss him.
He amy feel the same way but doesn't know how to tell you.
Just kiss him, if he isn't intereed in you, he won't freak out or anything. He'll be fine.

maybe theres someone else he is holding out for, and he wants to be sure he doesn't have a shot with them before he gets a girlfriend.
