Ok, I'm 23 and live in san diego and my girlfriend lives in boston. I really screwed up. I was on craigslist answering personal ads for a while and when she visited she found them on my email. I never actually met with anyone in person or even talked on the phone. I know what I did was completely wrong and disrespectful and I am ashamed of myself for it. I am trying to become a better person now and have started going back to church.I want to marry this girl but I'm afraid that I have ruined it forever. Does anyone think I have a chance? I'm worry about this constantly, My stomach is in knots all day long

there is a possibility you two will get back together, but there is also the same possibility you wont get back together. it depends on if you can regain her trust again.

Every day that you are alive you have a chance to make life better for yourself and the people you love. Keep telling her that she really is the only one for you. You will have to go through some agonizing waiting but I think that you can win her over in time. Women want to have the wrongs righted. So your going to have to keep trying with her to get it right. If you were ready to get married you would not have been on Craigs list looking. She knows that.
Maybe she will continue to date you. She must know you love her. Why don't you ask her if she would feel better if you moved to Boston and got a job? Thats what you need to do. Long distance relationships are hard.

It's hard to say. I know that if my fiancee even came close to cheating on me, it'd be a very long process towards even thinking about forgiving him. We all make mistakes. Take a good look at yourself and reevaluate who you are.
Don't be mad at her if she doesn't forgive you instantly. Think of how it'd make you feel for her to even talk with another man in a flirtatious kind of way.
It really hurts when the one you love does something like that.
But I hope she forgives you with time and that things work out.

Ya blew it and now you are paying for it.
Seriously, that is one of the draw backs to having home computers.
Too many times we just get bored and find our selfs surfing.
Why do you think I am in this site now, to possible help and I do not get myself into trouble.
Its called self restraint.
You are doing all the right things now, so just continue to do what you are doing and she will eventually come around..

Talk to her and tell her how you feel. If she had strong feelings for you they haven't gone anywhere and a little explaining should go a long ways to change her mind.

look i dont think u ruined it just explain to her that it meant nothing and tell her how nothing ever came of it anyway, she is prolly just feeling hurt and confused as towhy u would be looking elsewhere just make her feel like she is the only one for you and everything should be fine
