My husband thinks it should be okay for him to go out drinking at bars and stuff. Is it okay for a married man to go to bars and get drunk? We have a daughter together and I think we should have family time in the evenings after a hard day of work and not seeing each other all day. He doesnt want to go all the time but like on the weekends. And we can't go together because I am not 21 yet (almost though) and also I dont think it would be right for us to go partying when we have a little girl to take care of. Am I being selfish? And he has cheated on me before and I know how he gets when he drinks. But he says I should trust him no matter what because he would never cheat on me again. What should I do?
I am actually starting to think I should be a "good wife" and let him do whatever he wants while I work full time and cook and clean and do every ******* thing myself.

Have you discovered that after you left your abuser that you cannot get a job, because he's called all the jobs on your resume and your references with some kind of lie? Have you discovered that you cannot get help from any local domestic violence entities for similar reasons? I am not sure if he is tracking where I go (violating the order) or if he is having sister or first wife call the places for him?

He cooked dinner for me and just watching his hands handling the pasta and herbs was an instant turn-on for me. We drank wine that he made and that's when I fell in love. Dessert was even sweeter and it had NO calories!!! LOL

I had to share... but my question is, when did you realize you were in love?

What is something you do for your spouse to show them you still care -- I'm talking about the little things. With so many divorce questions posted on here, I'd like to read some positive. For example I leave my husband notes in his lunchbox.

Hi just wanted opinions on this. My son is unemployed - has been for years. he is looking for a job but no luck so far. he has set date for wedding (soon)! but the company that they want to go with is costing about 3k. he wants me to pay deposit which is 1k but i have doubts as worry there is no way he will be able to afford to pay balance. his fiancee works part time. i dont want to appear mean but worry that i will end up having to pay for it all. also feel you should live by your mean s etc . I know it can be done cheaply as my friend got married recently and only spent £500. but then again that was her second wedding. What do you think? what should i do? i dont want to cause problems with my future daughter in law either - her parents are unable to contribute as they dont work.

i have no clue where to start...first she is blind and she lives with my mtoher and i. we giver our 150% to this woman, we make our schedule [i'm in my last year of university and my mtoher works] based on my grandmother...here's what broke the camel's back! the bathroom is not far from my mother's room but it's too far for her so we bought a bedside comode[i dont know how to spell it] for disable and elderly people. she REFUSES to use it! she uses it like 10 % of the time at night. yesterday ever since i woke up i have been studying for a quiz for today even my grandmother has been telling me to take a break because i've been studying too much. this morning at 4:30 i woke up suddenly because i thought i heard her fall on the floor but she didnt she kept on bumping into the wall to go to the bathroom because she didnt want to use the "comode" nect to her! she did that twice and the fact that i woke up so sudenly my head started spinning so fast that i was scared i was going to faint...

Im 19 and my sis is 22, we get on really well most of the time, and she is one of my best friends. But ever since i was young she has always know what buttons to press to wind me u till boiling point! When i get angry i really lose it and lash out. Today we're having a discussion at which i make a point how i disagree with her opinion on something, at which she had no respect for what i'm sayin and replies with 'yeh i know what yor sayin, but no, your wrong'!!! and this just winds me up 100%!!growing up if i had a problem and sometimes i knew i was in the wrong but i just wanted some moral support she would never give any, always insiting i was doing wrong or what i thought wasnt correct. So today i lashed out at her, punching a book that was in her hand. I know it was a stupid way to take out my anger, but u cant speak to her coz she'd keep just saying 'no' and not repecting a word i said. Im ashamed if i hurt her coz i love her, but even know shes taking the moral high ground...

I have what I thought was a good relationship with my ex and his wife. While staying with them my seven year old was scratched by her 18month half brother and neither my ex nor his wife thought to inform me even though I spoke to them often while my daughter was staying with them. The scratches have left very visible and permanent scars on her face and while I understand kids will be kids I can not understand how an 18month year old can be that vicious. I am also upset that I was not told but I do not want to sound petty by pointing this out.

I think that people get married for different reasons: Love, friendship, companionship, teamwork, etc.

My potential would be a very loyal wife and a fantastic mother. Is that a good enough reason to marry her, or should I hold out for love, friendship, etc.?

I'm going through a situation with someone very close to me who is dating someone (and planning to marry), who many years ago was reported for molesting a child. The person close to me believes that the person is a very good man, and wouldn't ever do it again- "It was a one time thing" and he went through counseling. I don't believe that he wouldn't do it again. And more- I'm not going to take that chance- I have 3 children to look out for. What do you think?

To Recap:

She had been talking to an older guy who was supposedly just a friend, behind my back. There were 131 calls in one month and they waited till I was at work I only found out when I looked at her cell phone bill. She kept it online but I printed it out.

She had earlier agreed not to talk to him because he tried to feel her up when she had been drinking, he bought her the drinks.

When I gave her an ultimatum it's him or me she begged me to forgive her and said she would never talk to him again.

Should I trust her or continue to monitor her phone calls and movements?

My boyfriend was on his email. I was casually glancing though it and saw an email from his ex. He saw me looking and clicked off it. He would not let me read it. So, I went on his email later and read it. (the email was a old one and nothing big). He is mad I went on his email. I am mad he wouldn't let me read it. Who is wrong here?

this guy i know kinda blows hot and cold with me..hes nice, v warm, friendly, chatty,he teases me, hes asked me to help him out wit different things (to my advantage)hes an attention seeker.sometimes when im talkin i feel as if he doesnt listen to me, he does this to other ppl aswell. he rarely answers my calls or replies to my texts. i dont call or text him that often just once a week, bt theres stuff that i have to ask him. as i need something from him..(cant say what, coz its business). i didnt ask for it, he asked me if i would like to do it so i agreed. the other day we had a cheeky text conversation where he sent me like 10texts back and forth..i just want you to give your FULL opinion on it.. why does he ignore my calls, and then text me like 10times back and over???? thanks!!
