Be honest with your regret and make it up to her. If you realised without her telling you, that is better (but even forgetting is not that bad I would say if you show her how much you love her and that you are sorry). Maybe a humorous belated, forgotten birthday card could help if she would find it funny. Good luck (better late than never). Maybe the forgetting is bad because it looks like you don't think about her enough or care enough to remember, but maybe you can show her that is not the case with a belated gift and spending time with her, is possible.

You can make it up to her! Do a bit more than you would have. Get a real mushy I love you mom card and maybe a special time for just the 2 of you.

Better late than never as we say. bt if u love ur mother n if she really loves you she wud nt show her disapointment. i think that you should wish her even if it's late but a mother's love always remain the same n it will not change if you tel her late. so gud luck n try not to forget next time... c ya
