ok...i was talking to my ex last night cuz we r still like best friends and we talk all the time still...anyways..i told him that there was a hot guy in my advanced classes and that the assistant coach whos still in college is hot too and he goes ok u can stop using the term hot guys. and i go y? and he didnt say anything and i go seriously y..and he goes...cuz im jealous ok? y is he jealous of the guys that i think r hot??? could he still have feelings for me and gets jealous bcuz i think they r hot and i dont tell him that hes hot too or what?

When we met he lied about where he lived and then i busted him about a month later. He is in the navy and said he lives on the ship and didn't want to tell me that, so he gave me an address. Then he lied about something he bought and said he threw it away, or he said he left things on the ship and I found them in his bag. He also said he received and read a card I sent him, more than a month ago, and I found it unopened in his bag. I also just went to visit him for 10 days and he had a rental the whole time and said his car was in the shop, but his car keys were in his bag. Now he's calling me from 2 different cell phone numbers and said one phone is to chirp his brother. He lied about his son's mother and told me they were married and then slipped and told me that it was a one time thing and he was married to a different woman. When I tell him things aren't adding up he just gets mad or tells me to call his mom. He also bought and showed me and engagement ring but no proposal.

I hear the stories all the time. Guy has been with a girl for years and lets her go out to dinners, vacations, and other romantic getaways with male "friends". Then he is surprised to learn that she has been banging him all this time. In reality, these nice guys wanted to tell her she can't go, but they are soooo nice and understanding they don't have the balls to lay down boundaries for their women and be in charge. Even after they are cheated on they blame it on themselves "oh if I was only nicer to you and there for you more to lean on financially you would not have cheated its all my fault don't worry about it".

I just got accepted into med school and at the begenning, i wanted to live alone in my own appartment. but, my parents seem to dissaprove my decision. they r afraid that i might die in there and no one will ever find out at the right time!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i found an appartment with a room-mate who's charecter is totally different than mine!!!!! i have no idea how will i deal with her and i'm gonna spend 7 YEARS with her !!!!!!!!!!!

My BF and I have been together for over 2 years and he has always maintained employment until recently. 3 months ago he voluntarily left his job, and has been living with me for about 2 of those months. He does get unemployment, and uses what little he has to help me out with buying groceries, gas for my car, and other little things.

While this does help a little, we both know his unemployment check is not going to cut it. So for the past couple of weeks, I’ve urged him to find employment, but he just simply refuses. He claims that he can get a job at any time and just wants to have a little vacation time. I’ve tried to be understanding since he is helping me out financially despite being unemployed, but after paying all of my bills for this month, I realized the little monies he does give me doesn’t even make up for half the money I spend monthly on the electricity, water, and internet he uses daily. Not to mention I’ve spent the last 2 months paying on a credit card bill (in my name) he promised to have paid off by July; it’s now 1 day away from September.

On top of everything I’ve just mentioned, he doesn’t have his own car (of course he drives mine), was living with family before moving in with me, and even after swearing he would finish college, has yet to even fill out his financial aid paperwork properly.

I want to know if there is any gentle way to smooth out this situation. I’m afraid that if I’m too aggressive about it, our relationship may end, but then on the other end, if I’m too passive, things will continue to be as they are. He’s a great guy, he just hasn’t been making great decisions.

My b/f of 8 mos. lives with me and my 12yr old daughter--the problem..her ignorant attitude sometimes and sassy mouth towards my b/f and myself.Now her dad is not in the pic(currently in jail)but my bf does everything in the world for her-spoils her and we even get into arguements because she knows she can play him and i against eachother..But then now she got out of hand the other night and he was trying to help me correct her and she came out with the famous"your not my dad" saying and it really hurt his feelings..now i feel torn between both of them??? i feel she owes him an apology and should be punished or her actions and mouthiness..now my daughter got my mom involved and it ended up being one big yelling match..my mom thinks he should not help discipline or be able to tell my daughter anything..i feel different..I am feeling torn between everyone...what should i do????

My finace and I are planning on getting married but we can't because our parents are against us ending up together. I'm 17, half-Chinese and he's a pure and simple Filipino, and my dad doesn't approve of him because he's not rich. My mum is 77 yo and her days are numbered. It is with God's grace that she is living after more than 10 yrs of renal failure. To me, she is the most wonderful, giving person. She has a heart of gold, a obedient daughter, a supportive wife, a caring mother, a compassionate sister, a helpful aunt, a friendly person.

She was match-made to my father who was 17 yrs older than her. Gave birth to 6 kids with eldest and 2nd youngest kids passed away. Despite of being poor, she adopted 2 of her sisters' children.

My mum will do and sacrifice anything for us. With her giving and unconditioned love, everyone of the children grew up by seeing her as the role model. We are proud to say that we are compassionate, giving, responsible, committed. ... and so on.... just like her.

May her life be of comfort and pray that the May the Lord watch over her and ease her the pain & suffering and make her last days peaceful and meaningful. Please pray for her. Her name is Ah Ewe.

I go to school. I live in a really small, rural town...and sometimes I feel kind of trapped here! It's just so boring and there's literally nothing to do.
