Let me just say that I can afford it. The thing that happened was unexpected emergencies that popped up out of nowhere in the month of August. Things that I had to spend thousands of dollars on that I had SAVED for the wedding. It could happen to anyone. How is that irresponsible of me? Thanks to everyone who is giving me real advice! And to those who think I should work in a strip club, you can just f*ck off!

Many lenders, banks in particular, deal in any sort of secured loan other than second mortgages. Other institutions deal almost exclusively in secured loans. Finance companies that deal in secured loans can be found in your phone book, newspaper, and increasingly, online.Shopand can get a good idea of what each can offer you in terms of interest and other finance charges and fees. Choose the best one for your needs, and apply for the loan.

One of the best ways to save money on a wedding is to plan an off season wedding. Usually, depending on where you live, November through March is considered off season so you may be able to rent a venue for much less than during the spring or summer. Cut out booze at the wedding or only offer beer and wine. Use candles, mirrors, leaves, or greenery for your centerpieces rather than flowers. It will save you a lot of money. Make a list of things that are really important to you and things that are not. Remember, pictures will stay with you forever so you want a good photographer, but most people will not remember what your cake tasted like or what centerpieces you had. Good Luck!

if you really want to use loaned money there are a lot of credit cards at...
http://www.newhorizon.org/Info/unsecured.htm
You can try applying (just dont apply for too many at once cause it will bring your credit score down even more and then you might not get any) so pick like one or two depending on how much you need.
But the easiest plan woud be to speak with your vendors and ask if they can bill you and you can pay the week of the wedding with the money you get as gifts (then there is no interest rate)
good luck.

WOW, what happened that all of the sudden you are short on cash?
You really should have planned to save up for the wedding without the intent on taking out a LOAN, especially with already bad credit. Very very poor planning on your part. Unless your lack of funds was because someone backed out of helping pay, and even THEN you should have acted like you were paying for it all...
Can you call in favors from your family? That will help cut back how much you need to take the loan out for.
It is a very very very bad idea to go into a marriage already in debt.
You should talk to your vendors about your dilemma and see if they can refund you most of the money. If you are polite and look really sad they may be able to help you out with a refund at least.
Edit: Thanks for the update. Sorry to hear about the emergencies. I stick by asking your family first, then getting a loan for the amount left over that your family couldn't help cover.

If you do not have the funds to pay for a huge wedding, then why are you? You already are starting your marriage off on the wrong footing and now you want to get further into debt? Maybe you should have thought harder about how to do things cheaper, and nice rather than attempting to break the bank. Considering you are 3 weeks out form the wedding, you should be contacting your vendors and see if there is any way to back out of what you truly do not need.

If it's not too late, try to scale back anything you can. It's too bad you got into this predicament but I would suggest that you not get a bank loan. Try to borrow from a trusted family member. As far as I know, banks are struggling right now and it's only getting harder to get approved for loans and mortgages. Congratulations on your wedding... I hope you figure things out!

Should have probably tried to figure this out prior to 3 weeks before walking down the aisle. I'm certain that there are lenders out there that will probably be more than happy to loan you some cash, but their interest rates are going to be outrageous. Best of luck and happy wedding. But if you cannot afford it at present you might be wise to postpone it until financially your more well heeled.

You will be paying out your tails for any loans you may receive right now with your self professed bad credit. Check for any penalities the vendors may have in the event you need to cancel or reschedule. You really have to prioritize which is more important, the wedding itself or the conflict that will occur in the marriage because of the financial hardship you will be facing.

I smell disaster,
If you have bad credit, why in the heck are yoru trying to get deeper in debt? There is a reason why no one will lend you.
Why not having a wedding that you can afford instead?
Good luck (you're gonna need it)
