I met my current GF on Yahoo Personals 18 months ago. I actually did not like her photo so much as I did the rest of her profile. We e-mailed and phoned for about 3 weeks before meeting and have been going strong ever since. She really turned out to be even more beautiful than her profile and I more happy than I could imagine. Also, my good friend Kev met his current GF of 2 years on Yahoo Personals. It's like anything else, you don't really know until you give it a try.

there were a few I was disappointed in. I really enjoyed talking to them on the phone and had a connection with them, but when we met there were mannerisms that would turn me off. Little things that I knew would realistically bother me if I were in a relationship, so I'm glad I found out right away.

I've dated a few girls on the internet. 2 of them I liked, one of them not so much. I've only been disappointed 1/3 times so meh, it is what you make it in the end.
