Keep the text messages, you can use them to show a pattern of harrassment. Make a police report and press charges. You can file for a restraining order and he will be barred from contacting you or coming within a certain distance. The main thing is do not respond to him, and stick to your position. You can't file a report or charges and then drop them. Most police officers hate getting involved in domestic disputes because of this reason. They see too many people just drop the charges the next day, and that is why they don't want to get involved a lot of the time. So stick to it and don't let him intimidate you, that is what he wants. Good Luck.

Yes save the text messages on your phone and take your phone to the police. You can take it to a domestic abuse shelter and obtain a order of protection or restraining order against him. If he continues to text you with the order protwecting you then take your phone to the police and show them the text messages and the police will put him in jail for breaking the order. Just keep violating your x-husband on breaking the order and he'll eventually get sick of sitting in jail everytime he breaks the order and he'll stop doing it.

Take the text messages and go to the police and get a restraining order on him. If you are still in the process of a divorce CALL YOUR LAWYER NOW.

If he's threatening you, no matter the means he uses, can be used in a court of law.
If you can record then, or print then, or if he leaves those text messages in your phone, take then to a lawyer or police and file a complain and for divorce.
That's the best way to get him back, a restraining order and a divorce settlement.

Just so you know, if you were accidentally delete those, you could go to your phone carrier and they can bring them back up. The same thing happened to me two years ago. Anyway, you need to make a police report first before filing a restraining order.
Him threatening you will help your divorce case a whole lot!
Best of luck to you. You will get through this!

If you have already retained the services of an attorney, just present him with the fact and he'll get a restraining order against this jerk! Once the order is in, if he texts you or your family again, he can go to jail! If you don't have an attorney you can still file a restraining order and believe me, it'll look real bad for him in the divorce proceedings. Do this ASAP before it causes you a major headache!

Talk to your attorney and see if you can print the text messages.
Report the text messages to the police. Between the police report and your attorney, you should be able to show him unfit as a parent and eliminate his parental rights as a part of the divorce.
You can also use this as part of the reason for your divorce. Make sure you discuss with your attorney the activities leading up to the separation.
Take care,
Troy

This is a form of harassment. I had that problem with an ex once. Call the police, document every event, go to the magistrate and get a protective order. He will be served and if he violates it he will get in trouble. Everyone, according to the law, has the right to quiet enjoyment of their lives. Nip it in the bud now, it will save you from future problems occurring.

Definately save all text messages and take them to the police. Right now! File a report, press charges and get a restraining order. Keep all documentaion and turn it over to your attorney to see if it can help you during the divorce.
