If you still love him & have feelings for him...try to work it out
If you love him, but you're not in-love with him...you need to just confront him...there's no other way than that, be/c you leave him a message (voice-mail or text) or get your friend to do it, that's so high school...i recommend you NOT to do either of these, be/c I'm sorry to say this, it'll show yourself & others that you won't be able to handle your own problems at all in the future

I think anyone answering this would need to know why you should find it necessary to tell someone you love that it's over. Once you know the reason - that's the explanation that you give the one that you're breaking up with.

Honestly- there is no good way to say it. Some things in life are just hard. Be gentle and know you are going to hurt their feelings but the cliche is true- time does heal all wounds.

Well, you dont want to hurt his feelings, so break it to him lightly that you dont like him. Ask him if you two could still be friends. What I dont get is why would you break up with him if you still love him?
