I don't know! Why did nature give women a much lower libido than men??

...sorry, thought that was the start of a joke. :P

It's a primal thing. Women only usually have one child at a time and it takes 9 months for a child to develop.
In primitive terms, a man's instinctive drive is to survive and repopulate, to pass on their genetic code.
So we have a higher libido because it ensures that our bloodline will live on if we have more children with more partners.
This is one of the reasons men sleep around unfortunately, but women have their own reasons too.

It's probably something to do with natural population controls. Man-made pregnancy prevention techniques notwithstanding, if the female of the species were as eager to breed as the male, the result would likely be rampant overpopulation.

Or, you're just talking to the wrong women. I know plenty of women with impressively high libido (myself included).

Because women only need to have sex once to get what nature intended (pregnancy).

However a man can pass on his seed as many times as he wants without getting pregnant. The idea being that if all men are fighting to get their seed passed on, then the strongest will win, and the strongest genes will be passed on to the next generation.

So what drives the desire to get laid? The hormone testosterone: this is natures ways of ensuring men have a high sex drive. It is also that hormone that tells your muscles to grow larger when stimulated. This is why men also tend to be stronger then women.

Testosterone is a very powerful hormone and can drive men to cheat on "partners". So why do women cheat? Because it is programmed into their subconscious brain that cheating may get them stronger sperm, which is the reason for sex.

A bit of extra information on the whole subject there, I hope you found it interesting.

I hate to let you in on this, but men and woman have the same libido. But woman tend to be more reserved about it. I know no woman wants to admit this, but they want to get it on just as much, if not more then men do. The thing is society has but the mark on woman to say you will be a hussy if you want it as much as a man does. If you ask any woman honestly they will say the same thing. Also it's there peers who will look down on them the most, so in order to stay in line with them they don't outright say they want it, as much as men do. So as soon as you understand this, you can break down the stereotype and understand woman more. Hope this helps.

I'm not sure that you are correct!
It all depends on each individual and what you "both" do for each other.
Ive found it to be different with some men - they have the lower libido!!!!
Its all about finding someone you are compatible with!

Because if we had the same libido, we could be pregnant every after nine months and you providers would have a big headache everyday!
