It's his life. His money, he worked for it didn't he?
It's up to each person what they leave, who they leave it to, and how much.

Yes! As parents we do what we can for our children whilst they are young. Once they're grown up and settled any inheritance is just a bonus. Would you enjoy such a trip? Could you cope with living in a small house? Would the memories of a world tour sustain our old age? If yes - go for it! If no - compromise! (several nice vacations might be more fun in the long run!) All the best!

Of course, completely! Go and live life while you still can. Who cares if you spend every last cent doing it. The kids will probably be more happy with a house full of memories than unsentimental money in the end.
If in the end, the children only want money, then they don't deserve it to begin with.

One of 2 things is going to happen. Either he will have enough money to take world tours or else he'll be living in small house, day dreaming about them world tours.

LMAO sounds like the nicest plan for both the kids and the parents as well.....hmmm the kids wud be mighty pleased to have some privacy afterall :-p
Lady u know wat if ur kids are like grown ups and have got jobs and r starting to stabalise then yes ur husband is doing the right thing....u have to live ur life too and ur kids will make something for themselves truly. I believe ur husband isn't that negligent if he thinks of taking u on a world tour he must have truly made arrangements for his kids...looks like hez a caring person :) don't worry live ur life and if ur kids r in school then see to it that atleast they have a nanny to take care of lol I'd never leave my kids with strangers tho hehehe it's just not me and by ur question i don't u can either hehehe. But take it one day when kids grow they have a life of their own like u have a life of ur own. See it in a way how u wanted freedom and some mature growing up mistakes u did while growing up. All learn that way let ur kids free they will thank u, oh i mean free as in put some restrictions lol valid ones :)
What matters in the long run is the way u brought ur kids up and the values u instilled in them. Good values = sane healthy kids.

No. This is selfish for leaving a small house only for children and your husband wants you to be together with him to spend lots of money on World Tour.

Yep, have fun on the tour and hey, if the house has to be sold so you can have an extra year on tour, do it. The kids can fend for themselves and if they can't, well they should try harder.

Of course. Nobody is ENTITLED to an inheritance. Spend your money and whatever is left when you die can go to the kids. My husband and I are spending our inheritance on our kids while we are alive. We paid their college expenses and gave them money for a downpayment on their homes and we've taken them on trips with us to far away places, etc. They know they'll only inherit whatever is left after we pass on someday.

You should leave your estate enough money to pay off your final bills/debts. Other than that....spend your money.....have a good time!
