Go outside and look at the beauty in the world and in other people (see family and friends), watch some inspiring movies or movies that help you get a bit of perspective, think about the blessings I have and how I am lucky (just look at what is happening in the news and think about people in hospitals and in war-torn areas and in famines etc - there are always people who have it harder than you). Also, listening to upbeat songs, getting involved in community service/volunteer work and other things that mean you have less time to be thinking so much about yourself, and think more about others and other things can help too (and might make you feel better about yourself as well as doing something positive). Also, if you are religious, that can help direct your thoughts to more positive things and feelings. Good luck, hope you feel happier soon.

well, the best way i think is to remember the best time of your live, your happiest moments, the time your were the most happy person on the earth. or if you do not want to do so, you might as well listen to your favorite cheerful songs n not sad ones, it never helps. some people may feel that crying is the best way so as to remove all your pain and let it go. a funny way is to put a ur favorite rock song and SING it as loud as you can and even DANCE, it really helps even though ur family might think your r going mad. but singing n dancing is the best method...stop being sad n be cheerful...

Well, i take some time to think about was wrong with me or why is I'm sad then i sit down and talk to my sister or brother in talk about that was fun in my family than i be happy once again then i finish my life on and on. You get busy get hobby (plant a garden:), excersise never sit around the busier you are the busier your mind is focusing on whatever your doing so you get that sad stuff out of there it never goes away but if you wear yourself out until you find a place to put whatever it is in in your heart and go on with your happy life!

oh man, sad songs are the worst. i like to crank the stereo and listen to some rockin blues. it gets me moving and before long, i've forgotten about being sad.

Well, i would watch movies all day long or i would talk with a friend. I would go on shopping sometimes. But i would exert my energy on a hobby. I love to make crafts and accessories.

what i usually do to cheer myself up when I was sad is I watched comedy movies because I do believe "Laughter is the best MEDICINE!!!!"
