After a very very trying weekend of my husband and I verbally attacking eachother, I snapped and told him it was over and gave him my rings back. Now, I did NOT mean this at all, and the sane part of me knew it was terrible, but I still did it.

My husband put my rings back on my hand and we have been very intimate and passionate since then. I am very sorry for the cruel thing I did to him, and want him to know he can trust me again.

Suggestions and advice are very welcome, but please do not chastise me.

I think the reason i'm the way i am is my gf, she's 26 is always busy with work. "So focused on her career", I mean she makes like 85k, but works 60 -70 hours a week. I make 50K and work like 35 a week. She never wants to do anything anymore. In college she wanted to go out drink, and have sex all the time. Now im lucky if i get it once a week. I guess I miss thse days, and thats y i cheated on her 3 times. Am i dumb or is it her fault

I love my husband, endlessly, but for the past few months he has been a different person. I am trying to be as understanding as possible because he taking a medication that has adverse side effects, but it is really hard to not take his distance personally.
When I am around him I feel like I am a bother, that I annoy him or that he just tolerates me...not really loves me. We will go places and the entire time he acts like he is absolutely miserable. He disagrees when I try to tell him that they way he has been acting toward me has left me feeling unloved and unwanted. I am just not sure how to get him to understand how deeply this is hurting me. Of course it doesn't help the situation when he blows me off when I approach him about the way I have been feeling. Talk about adding insult to injury.

If so, how do you cope? My Dad passed away a year ago, and it's just my Mom, she has never been an independent person, always relied on my Dad, and she doesn't drive. She will soon be 72, bad memory from a stroke. Now she depends on me for everything, appointments, shopping, cleaning, etc. I do not mind helping but I'm getting worn out. She doesn't want anyone else to help. What am I to do? I love her ,but I'm exausted.

3 years ago i met this guy we never spoke but everytime we would see each other we would stare and look straight in each other eyes but thats all we did neither of us had the guts to ever approuch one another we had this strong connection the year went by without anything happening the next year i did not go back to study and i have not seen him since help its 3 years i cant forget him my heart is broken i think about him every minute i last week i went out with this other guy when he kissed me i burst out in tears and told him i dont think we should go out again cause i felt like i was betraying that other guy i want him to have been the one to kiss me at night i cry my self to sleep cause everyday i hope ill see but i never see him

my husband and i been married since 2003 and we have a child together (background)...

whenever we get into a fight he'll say he hates me and hell call me other horrible names then he'll leave (or go to another part of the house) come back in a bit and beg for forgiveness (on his knees if he has too doing everything but crying and saying he loves me and hes sorry and so on) ill be the one crying usually because of the names he calls me.

i talk to him about it and he says hes sorry and that stuff just comes out, everything else in our marriage is good except that he hurts me with words and mind games.. any ideas? he wont go to marriage counseling or anything but he just says he doesnt have control over that when he gets angry.

he said he is poly, and he has been in poly relationships, he said he is OCD(obsessive compulsive disorder) which means he has a thing with beautiful young women. He stayed friends with all his ex-gfs(talk to them and meet regularly).

petticoat punishment is where u dress a boy up as a girl

I just got engaged. My boyfriend and I decided that we were going to get married in my hometown. My hometown is 85 miles from his. Which is like a 45 minutes to hour drive. Sometimes not that long depending on the traffic. His mom called me last night asking why we have to get married up here. She said that she doesnt want to come up here. My city is smaller than their's and she say it is to small. The smaller the city the cheaper things cost. The bigger the city the more it cost. That is how I see it. She said that she wasn't coming to the wedding, she was just going to send us a gift. Tradition says get married in the bride's hometown. When her and my future father-in-law got married they didn't have that problem, because they live in the same city. What do you guys think should get married in my hometown or his's?

I recently asked the guy ive been dating if he thought we were in a relationship as we have been dating for three months and counting. I wasn't asking for marriage but in the end he stated that he was not ready for a relationship due to his last break up. He said he wanted to keep things simmering and when he's ready he would tell me(he's not seeing other women, phew!). Anyway I said I might as well find someone who is willing to commit but he was against that and wanted to keep me for himself, so im kinda confused, does he want to take it slow and not rush into things like he did with his last girlfriend or shoud I ditch him eventhough I like him?

I have always had a wild streak in me but i have always been careful and mature about things. My parents always trusted me and let me do most things such as go parties, stay out until reasonable times.... but just recently i messed up BIG TIME!
i went to a party and got very drunk, my dad came and picked me up at 11 as usual and then we got home and i don't think he realised i was that drunk.
This is when i made the biggest mistake of my life.....
i got a text from one of my friends saying their goin town and i remember just thinkin "arrr yeah im comin" and from that moment i was halfway out of my upstairs bedroom window escapin from my house when my parents thought i was tucked in bed.
my parents obviously found out and i am grounded for.....i don't know how long.... i cannot believe what i have done and how badly i have wrecked the trust between my parents.
my friend has invited me to go camping in a few days, how can i ask my mum n dad?

if your wife wants to go to her parents house but her parents don't like you and you know they will make the time you spend there hell and it will only end up in arguing and people crying because that is the way it always does then what will you do.

I don't want to stop my wife seeing her parents or having her parents in her life, but I don't think that an atmosphere like that is any good for either of us and certainly no good for my little boy. But every time I mention that to my wife she takes it as a personal afront, which it is not and I know she will end up crying by the end of the day.

I have tried every way I know short of been an *** hole of explaining it to her. But she still wants to go again this Sunday "as a family" how can I explain to her that these visits are causing problems between us that she wont admit

Things haven't been working for a long time, and until this happened I guess I wanted out too. But now shes gone, I realise what I had. She rings me at least twice a day and I get numerous texts. She keeps saying things like 'I might come back in a couple of weeks with my tail between my legs'..

My ex boyfriend dumped me by text message 3 months ago then only last week he text me to say he was seeing someone else now he really didnt need to because i wouldnt have seen him out and about anyway its like as if he is trying to hurt me as much as he can. When i called him about this text he put me on loudspeaker in front of his friends and said he would only speak to me like that i was so humiliated and upset, he is 29 years of age and i am 23 i wouldnt dream of doing that to someone. I feel so very hurt and depressed that someone who wanted to marry me, tattoed my initial onto themselves and was so crazy about me when we were dating turn so nasty against me. We had been dating for 8 months and it was very serious then out of the blue he didnt want me. Only a week beforehand he had wanted me to marry him and said he loved me all the time. Now he cant even be bothered to know i even exist. How do i get over this im very hurt and have lost so much weight from it? please help?

My bf lives in the US & I live in Europe. We haven't met in a while & I really miss him.
Last month when I was on holiday, 1 of the guys we were hanging out with kissed me. I didn't kiss him back, I just told him that I love my bf & that was it.
Yesterday my bf asked me if "anything" happned when I was on holiday. I told him about that stupid kiss and he sounded really upset. It wasn't my fault really, but I apologized to him for making him feel bad.
Then he told me that a girl kissed him in the party his friend organized last week. I went mad. Then he said he was kidding, he just wanted to pay it back to me, to make me understand how he feels.
I hung up on him & he didn't call back. I don't know if he was kidding or that was true. Did I do a mistake by telling him about that kiss? Should I apologize to him, or should I wait for him to apologize 4 making me feel so bad?

so heres the deal..im 21, n i still live at home w/ my mom..we've never had any major problems w/ each other, n for the most part, have always gotten along..but lately she's really been on my back n i dont understand why. last nite she gave me the longest lecture bc my boyfriend n i switched cars for today so that he could take mine to the shop while im at work. n i was thinkin to myself, what is she upset about??..she is always yelling at me about responsibility, but i dont know why - im a full time college kid, i work 2 jobs, i split household chores w/ my bro, i even help out w/ groceries, and the bills..i dont disrespect her in any way, n i know she has alot on her plate, so i try to help out as much as i can..but nothin i do satisfies her. everyday is some sort of argument, or a lecture from her, n i feel like she thinks what im doin n tryin to do w/ my life isnt good enough. do u think we've outgrown each other? is it time for me to jus move out or is this just a phase? thanks!

I'm studying overseas (in Australia) and my mum's turning 50 in October. I was wondering if anyone could suggest a gift that I could send back home to her and won't break in transit.
I'm definately going to call her on her birthday and I'm planning on making her a birthday card.
She likes 'Old-Fashioned' things, enjoys classic movies, loves handbags. The only problem is that she has dozens of things like that already!
I just feel that I should get her something special for her 50th!

We have been living together since almost a year and I asked him to marry me and he said as soon as he retires he will be ready,because I should not have to wait that long to be engaged I dont know what that meant(he will be retired in a year) but if he is so sure why does he have to wait aleast to be engaged I asked him that to he responed the same he didnt wan me to wait that long.Our age difference is 12 years different.
