My fiance is upset that I would prefer to lie to people about how we met. My family is extremely conservative and highly critical of our relationship already because we are interracial.

Is this wrong? He's told the truth to his family and friends and I've lied?

A guy has asked me out and i said yes! he gives me allot of attention when i see him, and when i walk past him in work he pokes me often! but when he doesnt, i just walk straight past him! is there anything i could do?

I know it sounds horrible, but it is on the verge of becoming hate. I am almost 17, have a job, pay for everything I have, and yet she still manages to bring me down.. I feel like she thinks it is her job to make me unhappy, it has happened so often i am practically getting used to it. Name calling, blaming everything on me, blaming my dads sickness on me, blaming my mom and dads fights on me. Its rediculous... I cannot stand to be in the same room as her. She will be nice to me infront of all her friends but when it is just us two, **** hits the fan. I love my father, he is reasonable and smart and is fair, but she is just a *****. I have never been home drunk once, never gotten in an accident, never had any school trouble; i really try to stay away from trouble. She does not like my friends, she always has little snide comments about them that she will say quietly, but so i can still hear them.. I truly feel bad for her sad life.

I've been considered a brilliant minds in my group of friends.
Quiet, thinking, a great cook, singer, bodyguard..
And as I watch the world turn day by day, I have seen it time and time again, so I gotta ask,

"Why do women prefer good looks, muscle, and wealth in a guy rather than how smart he is?"

And if someone is wondering, I am proud to be the remaining bachelor, because so far, I haven't met a girl that can outwit and outmuscle me haha...I play hard to get..

I mean not sending emails, but a true Pen Pal, actually writing letters to someone?
I think that this would be great for my kids.
Everything is emails. Yeah, it's great, but I think actually writing is more personable. Don't you think? I love to get letters.

Im relatively young woman in my 20's, but havent dated in the past year and a half. I've been going through things in my life and realized that I want to start having a serious relationship. I am a busy person and am usually not around new people because of this, but then being around the same crowd and being lonely is making me develop feelings for close friends. I need to get out and meet new people, but it is hard when you go to school full time, work part time, and take care of two elderly (my grandparents live with me and i take care of them). I dont have time to get out much, and when i do have the time im passed out in bed. O, and I am also not the most presentable person...being busy does not give me much time to care about how i look so im usually donning my favorite basketball shorts with a hoody..

My son's wedding was this past weekend. Some of the guests did not leave a gift or card with check or money. It's possible that someone may have walked out with the card and it was stolen as it does happen. Some of the guests invited are close work employees who drive down together and did have to stay over a few nights in a hotel at their own expense. Do we say anything in case their card is missing or just chalk it up since they did incur additional expenses.
