It depends - is he a jewelry man? Some guys like to wear rings and necklaces but other hate the thought as they think it might make them more feminine.
If this guy already wears jewelry then go for it! I'm sure he will appreciate it and remember you do not need to make it expensive but nothing cheap as its the thought that counts. If you find a ring that relates to him in some way (Reminds him of his hobby, soccer team, most memorable moment in life etc) then he will appreciate the effort, not the price tag.

Since you have to ask, the obvious answer is "Don't get him a ring." Yes, that is a period after the word ring.
A ring is very personal. If you are not sure it is a good thing to do, then it is not a good thing to do!
There are too many pitfalls here to even talk about. Just get him something you now he will like. If you don't know what he will like, then that is just further proof that you have no business giving him a ring. And don't give him after shave or other personal stuff unless you know it will be ok.
:-) Get to know him better first. Good luck!

you are going to be able to desire to refrain from one-on-one carry close outs. for the duration of intense college, boys are in seek of for a gf. Boys could invite me to pass to the mall or movie and that i could think of 'i like movies!' and then day after in the present day they had be telling their acquaintances we are relationship. What, relatively? perhaps they could desire to tell me they want an unique relationship. different circumstances, as a tomboy i could have a gaggle of guy acquaintances and carry close out with my team of adult men, yet as quickly as I spent too plenty one-on-one time with them, they had finally end up telling me they cherished me and that i could could desire to tell them i did no longer like them that way. that is all fairly some drama and subject at that age. Then, you hit upon out you are able to no longer have guy acquaintances and a boyfriend in separate circles as an grownup.
