I just have to be honest. After pouring my heart and soul into a couple of online relationships that didn't work out....I figure it's best to protect myself by not giving all of my heart til I fully know a guy.

Would telling a guy this offend him?

My partner used substances for years from using speed and exctasy in the old warehouse party days to having a serious habit with crack and heroin. He decided to get clean before we met and did succesful detox and left behind his old life to complete a course on counselling kids not to go into drugs and crime. The thing i hate is the fact that people still class him as a user and stigmatise him even though long clean and we are both in profesions now (im a nurse) I hate having to explain all the time that he is a decent person and wonderful partner who does not drink, smoke or use drugs when the people judging are worse themselves. any advice? We are both in our early thirties. He gets very upset people wont let him forget what he was and hated and move on.

I am 40 years old and my man is 27 when we first started out the sex between us was the best .After the birth of our child 5 months ago i find that i do not want to have sex with him even when i am horny . This girl from work and i were seeing each other when she broke up from her bf a while ago and i kinda see now that i was the rebound guy, although she said she had fancied me since she has known me (like nearly 2 years). she said it was too soon and she needed time.

I was pretty persistent up until that point when i just left her alone. when we finally went back to work a couple of weeks later she said she was havin 2nd thoughts cos and she felt really good seein me again and still fancies me.
she said u didnt know how much u want something til its not there anymore.

do you think this is for real or she is serious after having some time to herself?

my bf is a dj. last time i was out with him,i got very drunk &had to be carried out the club.His manager went mad as it made him look bad, & could effect him getting booked for gigs again in the future. He said I could end up ruining his career and it was not acceptable (which is true). He said how would i like it if he came into my work and started acting stupid drunk and have to get carried out. he can not let anything so stupid effect his work-which i understand. So he has said if i want to stay with him i really have to change and behave myself when i got out with him, he says he hates asking me to change what i do but he can not stay with me if im gonna get drunk, act stupid and embarrass him. So basically i have got to stop drinkin or we have to finish. i dont know what to do as i love goin out drinking (im not a alchololic) and when he is djing and im on my own its so boring so i usually drink cos im so bored. i dont know what to do now, stop doin what i like doin or not?

I did not believe in love, and found emotions messy and illogical, so when I met a nice grounded guy I married him, knowing that I didn't love him, just wanting to get out of the dating game. My dad is often away and when I seem down he dismiss's it. My mother was raised by her grandma because she never recieved the attention/love she got from her own mom. Her mom pretty much abadoned her and my grandma was left to take care of her. Now my mom is taking it out on me. Were not suppose to show our feelings-as in being sad or else she'll scream at me and saying im acting like a grannie.

than how come my cousin is the only one who was very nice to me and was trying to cheer me up while no else cared? not even my other cousins at the party? he is my sec. cousin. even though my other cousins are nice he was being esp, nice to me. hes 21. im 14.
