I don't have any children, but my mother has favored my older brother all his life, even when he didn't deserve it, (and that was most of the time). As a result he has become self centered, spoiled and arrogant. She always defends his bad behavior and makes excuses for him, ever since we were children. Myself and my younger brother have always known that he is her favorite. I just want to know if anyone else has this experience. A lot of parents wont admit favoring one child over the other, due to guilt or denial. Honest, sincere responses only. Thanx.

I have heard of it before, (basicly its when you slip in an insult to a girl [like a hack at her appearance] to lower her self esteme).

I mean it has its merits, since love isnt the same for everyone. It may seem more like a player tactic though. Any players or females have any thoughts on this (also try and think instinctivly instaid of just being morally outraged)

For the past six months, I met him approx once or twice a month and called him occasionally. I do have a partner, but my ex doesn't seem to get this and expects me to be regularly in contact with him. I tried to accommodate the ex and be his friend, but I also thought he was being impatient and controlling! Naturally, it upset me when he told me I was not seeing him enough, etc, and I fired off heated SMS messages to him, saying none of my other friends complain about the amount of time I spend with them. Generally, my ex denies wrongdoing on his part and says I am at fault. He told me I was abusive for sending the texts and hasn't responded since. This makes me really angry and confused. He has a pattern of doing this, making up, then exploding and disappearing again, sometimes for years! I forgive him, thinking he might change, but it's the same end result. Who is being unfair here? Is it me like my ex claims, or is he the one in major denial about his selfish behaviour? Thank you.

know some of u read about my cousin losing his bladder and bowel control in a car accident .i have a problem because every morning he wakes up and starts to cry because he had accident at night . u would think he would have got use to waking up with a wet diaper but he dosen't act like it . he's usely wakes up around 7:30 or 8:00 and starts to cry and i like to sleep till 9:00 . what can i do for him to get use to waking up with and accident. hes 23 years old and he dosn't have brain damage

to have patience u need sleep i love him with all my heart but once and a while i need a little sleep

anything i can do for him to get more sleep at night . please don't say ur selfesh or ur mean . i need help would u help me find a way for to get sleep and some times he will speck like a two year old .

Ok not a serious problem but it still bugs me. My mom works at a grocery store wal mart to be specific she has been working there for a couple years now and so she knows a lot people who work there pretty much she knows someone from every wal mart in the state. So every time we go shopping she ends up chatting with someone for ever some times she keeps me waiting for up til an hour and a half. And these are people i don't know at all so Im pretty much waiting on a bench til she is done. Should i be really mad or should i just get used to it?

My husband and I have had a trip planned to go visit our friends in Houston for a really long time. We even planned it for this specific weekend because I do not have work. The guys in houston are his friends from high school but I have known all of their wives for 3 years and I like to party and talk with them, and with the boys. His friends and I have always gotten along well.

All of the sudden today my husband decided that he was going to go to houston and he didn't want me to go. He started making up things like how I said I didn't like his friends anyway and how I always complain when I'm around them (which I honestly don't...and he couldn't give me a single specific example). Then he told me he would have more fun without me and he didn't want to have to worry about me while he was trying to have fun.

We talked about it and right now as it stands we are both going, but I don't think he is happy about it. I was really looking forward to this trip! What do I do?

My husband has a cousin that got in a really bad motorcross accident at the beginning of July. He's been in the hospital ever since. His mom hasn't been working since his accident and his dad took 3 weeks off from work to be with him. (My husband and I got married in January) The mom and dad weren't able to make it to our wedding and they sent us a card with a big check as well. I feel really bad for accepting the check because I know that insurance isn't paying for all of the hospital bills and I know a big hefty bill is coming their way, but at the same time I don't want to send it back because I don't want to hurt their feelings even though I know they need it more at this point in their lives. So what should my husband and I do with the check?

ok, here's the skinny, I have a girlfriend from Wales, yes, Wales (it's in the U.K.) I met her over the summer at a summer camp and we decided we'd try the whole long distance thing. The last time I know that I'll see her is the 26th.

so, 1) is this a good idea to keep a relationship with someone so far away?

My ex-husband has told my 15 year old that her grandfather is not her biologica grandfather. She has just come back from a 3 week stay with her dad and he has told her this. I have never met my biological father but my father now is my real dad as far as i am concerned. My ex wants my daughter to live with him; I am of a Native American Indian heritage and caucasian heritage he is of a Hindu Indu heritage. What should i say? I've known this guy from work this summer. I really like him, and asked him to hang out sometime. He said yea, but we both already had plans that weekend... should I give him MY number, or should I ask for HIS number? Would giving him my number make him feel pressured to call? (I hope not)
