I love wild horses by the sundays, love song by 311 and drive by the cars but I dunno what to pick..we don't have a song together yet...any good songs you recommend? And NOT the typical everyday songs like a whole new world or at last?

I insist (fiercely, some might say ;) on originality/unconventionality in these matters, also.
I wanted to use "Into My Arms," by Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds, but a friend of mine beat me to the punch when she used it for her procession.
Considering the songs you noted, I bet it would appeal to you.
I'm sure you can find it on Napster or any comparable music site. Have a listen---it's a heart-breaker!

To me the most beautiful love song to be played for the first dance at your wedding would be "Anniversary Song" originally sung by Al Jolson in the "Jolson Story". It is a beautiful waltz. The movie came out in 1946 the year of my wedding and was always our favorite song.

I asked the same question awhile ago and didn't get any answers I really liked. I'm afraid I don't know the songs you're referencing, so I could be way off...but we used "Come What May" from Moulin Rouge for our wedding (perfect, we loved it!!) and my current favorite that I've recommended to a couple friends is "Songbird" by Eva Cassidy -- it's from the Love Actually soundtrack. Hope this helps and you find "the one"!
