She was not happy with him and I was able to "sweep her off her feet". We talked about getting married and having a family and now she is telling her friend that she never really got over him. She continues to tell friend that she knows that it is me she wants to be with him but "has to find out 'what if' with that other guy". I fell for her very hard. She has been calling me alot and even wants me to spend the weekend with her family to meet family members I never got to meet before. She is currently still with him but he is out of town for two weeks. She told her friend that she is going to have a "long talk" with him when he gets back. I don't know if she is going to give him an ultimatum or end it with him. I kind of feel that I am her second choice now if things dont' work out with them but it seems as though she is coming back to me as well. VERY CONFUSED!!!

My husband has 3 kids from previous marriage - 10, 11 and 15. My husband never spanked them before, but the kids' mother did numerous times. The girls are very, very spoiled and ignore our requests, do not do chores, talk back, raise their voice, etc. They demand that we buy them clothes and complain when the clothes are not from Limited Too or other expensive store. My husband's ex , like i said spanked the oldest daughter when she was 10, 11, 12 etc. Now she says that my husband is not allowed to spank his 10 and 11 year old , because they are to old. Well, then why did she spank her oldest daughter when she was that age? 2 months ago my husband told his kids that since they never listen to us and treat us like slaves ( they never ever help!) he is going to start spanking them. I do not know if he was serious. The kids told their mother and she told my husband that she was going to call the police on him. She told him to not ever "touch her kids again". But she spanked her daughter!!

Right,this can be a bit long.
There was this girl in high school whom I really liked.Somehow,I could never pluck up the courage to talk to her.So,last year we both joined medical school in different cities.But,I just couldn't get her out of my head.There was no one else in my class that I could bring myself to like.Lately,I've been really trying to move on and I convinced myself I'd never see her again.But today,I saw her in my college library(its supposed to be the best in the state,so I assume she was here to prepare for the university exams which start next month).I don't know if I should talk to her because she'll be gone in a month,anyways.I am really confused and I don't know what to do.

Both my partner and I want a small wedding, just immediate family and maybe a few friends. The only problem is that I come from a HUGE extended family who expect to be invited to the wedding the majority of whome live interstate. From cousins past experience they don't fly over for the engagement but do come to the wedding. Would it be an acceptable substitute to invite them to the engagement party stating in invitation that if they want to celebrate this union they should come to the engagement as we only plan on a small wedding? Is this rude? Would you be offended if you got an invitation saying that? Can you think of a better way to word it?

He really seems sincere, yet I worry about the difference in our ages.

Also, a guy friend of mine pointed out that sometimes guys in their twenties think it's pretty cool to be with an older...more experienced.....woman. But, the novely will wear off....then he won't want me.

What do you think? I really like him. And, when you consider the male and female lifespans....it makes sense to date a younger guy. Not to mention the fact that he is just plain hot! lolol

I have been married 20+ years, through good times and bad. During the last few years as the children go off, he no longer seems interested in me. I am attractive and in better shape than him. I have tried talking to him about getting a hobby or doing a sport together. He says "yes,yes" but never follows through. And sex...just when I figure we can really enjoy time alone together, he seems no longer interested in sex... although he still looks at men's magazines and has some X-rated DVD's. I find myself flirting with other men for the attention I want from my husband, I know it is wrong, but I have felt undesireable for a while... and unloved for longer. What can I do? Or does it seem he is no longer interested in me? I am not ready for the Old People's Home yet!

well, looks wise, i am not that great. definitely no hourglass. figure sorta 30-24-32, skinny. and i'm short, being 5'2. asian, black hair, brown eyes. just the typical girl next door sorta look.
personality wise, i am very witty, confident , outgoing and smart. constantly in the centre of attention. and always cheerful and fun. in my worse, very high maintainance and demanding.
is this alright with most? looks, i do not feel very attractive, but is my personality ok?

Well my hubby cleaned out our family car and while he was doing so he found a mans tie that did not belong to him under the passenger seat (he doesn't wear ties). He of course questioned me and I had no idea how that tie got in the car!! He kept asking if I've had a man in the car and I kept telling him NO because that was the truth!! He acted as if he didn't believe me and then didn't speak to me for the rest of the day. At that point I had had a 24 hour migrain and I was throwing up...16 weeks pregnant. I kept throwing the tie away and he kept pulling it back out of the garbage. I got hurt and pissed and then realized who the tie belonged to but still had no friggin idea how it got in to MY car!!!!! I never said I knew who it belonged to because then he would have assumed I had slept with the dude regardless of what the truth was. This drug into the next day and he still didn't believe I had no idea how it got in our car...I was very hurt! I would never cheat on my hubby (cont)

there's a guy in my class. he's always back of me, teasing.i try 2 ignore him a lot, but then he keeps on annoying me...i reli hate him. when i say 'shut up' he tries 2 do it the same way as i do...in the same accent as me. i don't know Hindi, but unfortunately its my 2nd lang and he's also an Hindi student. he tries 2 tease me with the same accent as me...and 'coz of that the whole class teases me...its sort of bcuming 2 much 4 me...i can't bear it any longer.
can any1 help me with this? can any1 tell me what i shd do if he does that again?

She was my girl friend back in 1963 when she was 16 and I was 18. We dealrly loved each other.
After 44 years she spotted me on the street and we had a cup of coffee and talked.
Surpresely, She's at the present also divorced; 12 yrs. ago. We have come to a point where we fell back in Love again even more as we used to...and the question here is this : She says she's too Catholic and belongs to a circle of prayer made by catholics where she's been taught that once married by the catholic church, her marriage is undisolve and nobody can break up what God has put toguether or united for life.
I'm Christian but believe in freedom and believe in re-marriage by the Civil Law or by a Public Notary. She says, She also would love to marry me but her husband is still alive and so is mine. She believes that not until they die, we can not get married.
How can I convince her to marry me when she believes that once married...our spouses must be death for us to re-marrry ?

i am in a long distance relationship, i live in australia and he lives in america. Its hard to talk because when he gets up im going to bed and when i wake up hes going to bed. So ive been sending him messages of my day and how much i love him etc, but he reads it and doesnt reply, then the next day he'll send me a message. He keeps saying he hates how were not talking as much anymore, but he's not even trying.

im trying, im sending messages, it seems like its all me.

today i took his name out of almost everything of mine like myspace etc. like he's still my no1 friend and he is still mentioned on my profile and stuff.

NOW he is trying to talk to me. . . wtf is with that.
why is it he is talking to me now but wasnt when i said it was an issue.

2 months after i started work at my present work place, he asked me out. i accepted cos i felt a strong attractn. we started something serious but now i feel he acting funny.he doesn't call 2 say hi between work anymore, he says he will call back when he gets home @ nite but claims he slept off or was too tired when i acuse him d next day xcept i call 1st to remind him. it wasn't like dat b4. we still see @ weeekends but i noticed i'm the initiator now about the weekend meetings. our relationship is just under 6 months. could he be tired of me already? i really like him alot, a whole lots. how do i know if he's not playing me? i asked if he was serious with me and he said if he wasn't he won't introduce me to his parents. does that matter? i don't want to push him with too much question cos he could be touche & temperamental @ times & i don't want 2 nag. should i be doing something i'm not? what can i do?
