i am in a long distance relationship, i live in australia and he lives in america. Its hard to talk because when he gets up im going to bed and when i wake up hes going to bed. So ive been sending him messages of my day and how much i love him etc, but he reads it and doesnt reply, then the next day he'll send me a message. He keeps saying he hates how were not talking as much anymore, but he's not even trying.
im trying, im sending messages, it seems like its all me.
today i took his name out of almost everything of mine like myspace etc. like he's still my no1 friend and he is still mentioned on my profile and stuff.
NOW he is trying to talk to me. . . wtf is with that.
why is it he is talking to me now but wasnt when i said it was an issue.

Im not making an excuse but some guys aren't the talkative type -if he doesnt reply it doesnt mean he doesnt love hearing from you - if he is like that generally i.e he doesnt go around writing long emails to everyone then it could just be a personality trait and he may be writing you now cause he doesnt want to lose you ........see if its something you can live with and remember that you cant change anyone so you gotta figure out how much of an issue this is to you.....good luck

For my money I would say its perceptual. You are looking at things differently since you made that change. Keep in mind that 50/50 always feels like 65/35. He may very well think that YOU aren't going to as much trouble to talk as you used to.

Long distance relationships are a bad idea in general. And maybe he's a day late in replying to you....and follow me here.... but when you send it, he's sleeping, and you're awake. when he wakes up, he sees it, and replies, when you're sleeping. and when you wake up, it'll seem like a day passed, when in reality, he just replied as soon as he saw it. get it? And he's trying to talk to you because he's not serious about you. He just wants you there to have someone.... hate to say it..... but i think you're getting played.

maybe he was having a rough time and didnt want to tell you about it because he didnt want to worry.
i know and agree it would have been far easier just to tell you this, but he's a guy and typically we never get it right first time.
if he's trying to talk to you and leave you messages then it shows he still cares.

Consider his schedule , like you said both of you are in different TIMEZONES . It might seem like he doesn't try but maybe it's because he's a bit busy . He must miss you alot .

you dont know what you have until its gone.... thats a tough one to have, a really long distance relationships almost never work out.
