He really seems sincere, yet I worry about the difference in our ages.

Also, a guy friend of mine pointed out that sometimes guys in their twenties think it's pretty cool to be with an older...more experienced.....woman. But, the novely will wear off....then he won't want me.

What do you think? I really like him. And, when you consider the male and female lifespans....it makes sense to date a younger guy. Not to mention the fact that he is just plain hot! lolol

Go for it and see where it leads. You are both grown adults and at this point, age is only a number and he's not really that much younger than you. If you are compatible, the it could be a good relationship.

i get the reasons you listed and a lot of it makes sense and you will think ppl should say go for it but personally i say dont cause you may think it is ok but it isnt my uncle is dating someone half his age and it may be working out no one is happy about it the only good thing is that they get along. and here is a way to put it that might make it seem clearer when you were 20 this guy was 8 now when you were 20 you would not have dated an 8 year old so why star when you are 40 and he is 28 it is like that!

The only concern you should have is do the two of you enjoy each other's company. If this is the case, then there really shouldn't be any problem with the age difference.

in my opinion, if you two really like each other, you should go for it. if hes 28 (near 30), he should be mature enough to not want an older woman to look cool. you never know, youre guy friend may be wrong.

i honestly don't see a problem with age differences. i am 21 and the Man i'm with is 51. If you truely love him and the feelings are there and mutual why worry what others think?

age difference ??????? my dear lady are you serious ?, you're still young, so what if he's 28, that is a very good age for a man, he's not a boy anymore, and even if the "novelty of it" wears off, so what ? the main thing is you are happy.
