hi guys, sorry I know this isn't a marriage or divorce question but I'm learning to drive and yesterday while driving home I lost control of the dang steering wheel and got into a fender bender with another car. I was in complete shock and this guy (thank goodness) was so nice. I dented his car bad and was crying b/c of the shock and my ego took a big hit b/c it was entirely MY fault. My brother was teaching me. I don't want to be afraid to try again, I really need my license at 31 yrs old with children. Any suggestions on how to "move on" and continue will be VERY appreciated. I recently saw my mans thing for the first time...i sucked on it a little but i didnt really know what i was doing. He wants me to finish him off but im really nervous...i had to reassure him that i liked it cause he thought that i hated it. I love him so much and i want to do it for him but idk what to do!!! My mom and I are extremely close. Now it's two and a half days before I leave for college, we're getting stuff ready, and she's constantly crying but trying really hard to hide it. I'm the oldest of 3 kids but the only girl, and we're each other's only true best friend. She's starting to catch the cold I'm just getting over, and I'm scared that being very depressed will only lead to her getting sicker, which is the last thing I want. Every time I mention I'd be only a phone call or e-mail away... well, that just reminds her that I won't be around and she gets sadder. If anyone can give any advice on how to make the transition to college a much less depressing one - for both of us but especially Mom - I'd really appreciate it and love you forever. =]

well my best friend used to live next door to me and almost a year ago he had to leave because of problems with his father. but he left three sisters and one who he practically raised till she was 8 months old when he left but i see her outside running around with her sister and father and i cant help but hate them all. I dont understand how he goes through life everyday not regreating what he did, his son/my friend refuses to talk to him. i wanna scream at the father just because he took so much away from me and my friend, and my friends happier where he is now but we both hate being so far apart. and kills me having to still be near his family.

any advice on how to deal or get over hating the father?

Wife is a stay-at-home Mom and I work full-time for a large corporation. I don't work excessive hours, but my job is demanding. Not saying her job isn't, as staying home taking care of kids, is not easy also. We have sex about ONCE every 3-4 months (I'm not exagerating!). I find this completely UNACCEPTABLE and she finds it OK. Mind you, she is on Effexor for anxiety/mild depression. She is 5'8; 230lbs and I'm sure she doesn;'t feel sexy, but come on. We don't sleep together anymore as she says I keep her up snoring, but when I wake up in middle of night to use the bathroom, guess who I hear snoring? Yes, her. I'm frustruated. I been asking her to seek counceling with me, but she refuses to talk to a stranger, so finally 3 wks ago I went to make an appt with a psychologist and this week will be my 2nd session. I'm going alone.

This girl likes me, but has a boyfriend. She told me she's going to break up with him (cause he cheated on her), but she's having a hard time, and needs some time to "figure things out". I agreed to wait for her to sort her issues out- until she's ready to start a new relationship with me.

So- to avoid her getting too used to me, is ignoring her a good idea until she actually breaks up with her? I'm confused cause, 1) I don't want her to think I'm a jerk, and, 2) I don't want her to get tired of seeing me ignore her.

I've already been ignoring her for a week now- and when she tries to talk to me, I give short 'yes' or 'no' type answers... So in response to this, she seems to start ignoring me as well (avoiding eye contact when we walk pass each other). Am I handling this the right way?

M 35, cud not get married due to the carelessness of my parents, now they r bringing proposals that does not suit me at all. Everybody says that one has to compromise in life but to wat extent one shud....in looks, in qualification ...in habits like drinking.....or in other unrevealed facts. They will just get rid of me...but how will I get rid of life, if it becomes hell with such compromises? Pl help...I am numb coz this man is not my choice..just to go out of my existing hell...I may take a decision, but I dont want another hell hereafter, I dont want to regret any of my decisions...either Yes/No.

know some of u read about my cousin losing his bladder and bowel control in a car accident .i have a problem because every morning he wakes up and starts to cry because he had accident at night . u would think he would have got use to waking up with a wet diaper but he dosen't act like it . he's usely wakes up around 7:30 or 8:00 and starts to cry and i like to sleep till 9:00 . what can i do for him to get use to waking up with and accident. hes 23 years old and he dosn't have brain damage

Is it just me, or are you too tired of hearing that as a black woman you are dating your man because of "the shortage of black men"? I mean I could care less if there was an influx of black men, I still wouldn't date them. Last friday, i told my ex who I have remained friends with since we totally called everything quits that I sometimes wish we never would have dated so we could have remained the best friends we were b4 hand. I didn't feel we could ever go back to how we were b4 the relationship, which is what I want. Our friendship was incredible. She said she never regretted getting together, things happen for a reason, and only time will tell what it all means. I tried talking to her the next two nights and she wouldn't answer. Finally Sunday she asked if I regretted the relationship with her. I told her no, and explained again what I meant. She asked me how I felt and I told her she will always be my friend and big part of my life. She told me i was everything she was looking for in a person, but right now is not the time in her life. She said she misses us together from time to time and that she thinks of me more than friendship still at times. I want to know exactly what she is getting at?

She is currently married but has been seperated for over 2 years....
the marriage lasted 8 DAYS, wasnt consimated, she fell ill on honeymoon and was left to suffer while "he" went sightseeing..
when they got back she was rushed to hospital where she almost died due to lack of care.
the marriage couldnt be annulled in our stupid state of sc

we met over a year ago and soon started dating... and have been madly in love ever since.
we have talked marriage many a time and that is what we both want...

PROBLEM IS... her parents are VERY CONSERVATIVE..
the fact she was dating while still technically married would probably cause them to NEVER give me a chance

due to this when i meet them later this month (as divorce will be FINAL) they are to be told we have been good friends and been hanging out for over a year but no that we were offical then.

Due to this and the fact she expects me to ask her father for his blessing my plans of asking on her birthday in feb are slim to nill
