If you had to chose between your best friend and and your boy friend, which would you chose?

My best friend and my boyfriend hate eachother. My friend said she wont be my friend ontill i break up with him, but i really like him. What should i do?

Honestly, you shouldn't have to choose. If she truly is your best friend then she will just be by your side. I have had this problem before were I didn't like the guy that my friend was dating, and for good reason, but out of respect for her I kept it cordial when I seen him. I didn't hold conversations or anything but I would say hi, if he was over there when I was but I did not hang around. I thing it is okay for your friend to give you her opinion but she can't make you choose and it is not fair to you. I would never want to be in a situation like this b/c it would be hard to choose. In any other circumstance I would have said stick with your bestfriend because odds are she will be around before and after your boyfriend but that still doesn't make it right for you to have to choose. Your friend is probably just over protective and looking out for your best interest but just going about it the wrong way. Ask her to be your best friend and stick by your side. Good Luck!!!

You are going to have to find out what the problem is. If your best friend doesn't think the boyfriend is good for you, you are going to have to think that over pretty carefully. Sometimes only a best friend will say a relationship is bad.

If it's a matter of jealousy or something other problem on her account, then you might have to take a step back from the best friend and turn the temperature down a notch, just to see what happens.

any Idea why she doesn't like him? Is it because she's seen him mistreat you? or is she just a possessive friend? If she's your best friend I suspect you know each others feeling pretty well.
